actually insane. these guys’s fr brought it to socal, wish i got more vids but the rest of the set was amazing, and ofc better in person. reallyy hope to see em again one day, fingers are crossed because they just somethinn else🤞 also, coleman’s been killing it on vocals lately (such as with his band theodore war), which you love to see.

curious question, what's the appeal of this kind of music?
Are you asking sincerely or just trying to make some backhanded sleight? If you dont like it you can say so. acting coy about it is a waste of energy. I find the appeal to just be the sidestepping of anything super technical or "proggy" to just make something that has high energy and is intentionally abrasive to just get energy out. Same with most metal genres just a different approach
its for kids who weren't alive in the early 2000's when this shit was all fresh and original so they play dress up and recreate it note for note without any of the authenticity. Its kinda how in the 90's Hippie fashions came back into style and everyone followed The Dead around trying to recapture the summer of love that they never witnessed
