In your first PTX videos several people recommended watching their live performance of seasons of love. I'd 100% still recommend that, the vocals are completely live and Kirstie is INCREDIBLE. Before that arrangement people didn't know she could sing like that or her range.
Mitch's 'Your Power' solo is awesome. Also he just released his 'Halfway' visualizer which is beautiful!
This song is such a vibe. Kevin and Matt just kill it. That bass drop is just amazing.....
My favorite line in any song is also my most hated line, "#3 If your under him you aint gettin' over him" The sad part is, I can't tell you how many times I've found myself in that position of being under him, after I kicked him out.

I believe this was filmed while Kirstie was performing on Broadway (life goal!) in Kinky Boots. This might have been an apartment rented for this video, or it could have been a place the production rented for cast members. Either way, the views of central park and the New York skyline are fabulous.
Yes, it was during Kirstin's Broadway stay.

I love this one - Kevin and Matt are on fire! I hope this doesn't come out wrong - but I LOVE that Scott and Mitch can sing lyrics typically sung by women because it references romantic relationships - that they can sing songs that reference same sex "couplings" is a sign that we as a nation are moving forward. Scott's songs about his husband are some of the most beautiful I have ever heard. Love wins!
Frankly, love songs are about whatever it means to each person. I am not thinking about same-sex relationships when I hear Scott or Mitch sing.
I'm old and I remember when gay men and women lived in fear of being outed. It has more significance to me for that reason - and it's glorious.

Another lovely reaction. I love PTX Mondays. Messer (Mitch) just dropped another awesome song Halfway. It has yet another Mitch style. There is a video by CourtAnn I believe called evolution of Mitch that has all his looks in order. The song is the song Scott and Mitch sang on the Bones episode. That would be another fun thing - Kirsten, Scott and Mitch were on an episode of Bones. There is a video with just their scenes and explanations of the plot.
Love the pair Kevin and Matt, the rhythmic part of the song, and Scott take most of the lead, and the perfect work of Mitch and Kirstin, they work so well together

This was released while Kirstie was performing in Kinky Boots. Im not sure if the apartment was where she was staying during the performances.

I like this one because it's not that usual to have Scott singing lead for the entire song - which means we get to hear Mitch and Kirstie singing harmony, and their voices work so well together!
The story I've always heard about this video is that this was filmed while Kirstie was in NYC performing in Kinky Boots on Broadway, and couldn't get away to shoot a video back in CA - so they came to her and shot it in NY! While I haven't seen anything directly that confirms that story, the timing is certainly plausible - Kirstie was in Kinky Boots from Feb - April 2018 (and was probably in rehearsals for some time before that), and this video was released in March 2018. Since the video would be shot shortly before its release date, it's certainly feasible that the story could be true.
I've heard this story before about Kirstie being busy with Kinky Boots and so the PTX crew came to her and did this. It is indeed plausible, so hopefully true.
In a recent interview Matt said that they recorded 4 videos in a 2-day period and this was one of them. I love how organized they and their teams are that they could pull that off so beautifully.

This one's actually a "mash up" rather than a "medley". In this case the beat is taken from "Are you that somebody" and the lyrics from that song are interlaced through the main song of "New Rules".
absolutely love this song..probably in my top 5 favorite PTX songs! I knew you were going to like it when I commented on your Butter X Dynamite video :) Also I am surprised you haven't reacted to any VoicePlay! If you like PTX I think you'd also like VoicePlay. They are definitely the Theater Kids of Acapella! They recently put out a new cover 'Hellfire' from the Hunchback of Notre Dame I think you'd love to check out!

Love that one from their early days. Another more recent mashup that I just love is "Despacito x Shape of You". There's no official video for it, but there are a couple of fan-shot videos of it in concert. If you can get past the poor sound quality of phone recordings, it's fun to see them perform it. For the best sound, you can go with the audio-only version from their "Top Pop" CD.

I've just been rummaging through your Pentatonix playlist, and I notice a couple of things you've missed somehow.
First, you reacted to "Wizard of Ahhhs," but somehow seem to have missed the Behind the Scenes video that goes with it: czcams.com/video/C6yQa3oC7gM/video.html
Second, how on earth have you managed to miss "Bohemian Rhapsody"?! It's a tour de force. When Queen made the original they used what were then state of the art video techniques, taking it to the very limit of what was possible with the technology of the time, and instead of casually using modern computers to duplicate Queen's achievement, Pentatonix used flashlights and running around the set to produce similar effects, all without disrespecting Queen in any way. And to top it off, it contains at least three Mitch slap moments. And it's another one with a Behind the Scenes video.
