    Thank you for the excellent video. Very informative. I had one of these about 10 years ago and sold it and now I'm thinking of buying one again.

      I’ll never sell mine. Even if I get a more advanced plow, this one is such a proven winner for me. I’m going to see how it holds up with use on my tractor this winter.

    I have one on a 2016 f150. Had it a couple years and enjoyed it despite limitations. Then I bought the winch kit and the combination of easy lifting and ESPECIALLY downpressure capability was a huge improvement. Better scraping overcame it's biggest flaw. I added winch straps and eye hooks to the back of the plow and ran them to my front tow rings and now I can backdrag too! Only limitation left is inability to angle the blade, but box ends work counter to that anyway. I love mine.

      It's amazing what this plow can do. I like your back drag solution!

    I’ve had the same plow for a few years and have been considering the winch kit. To switch the plow to transport mode, do you need to disconnect the down pressure “hooks” onto the handles I see there, or do you just remove the pins, pull up / drop in by hand, then replace the pins?
    Also what if you want to take the plow off, but leave everything else as is, is there a lot to disassemble?
    Thanks!

      The winch is part of the angling interceptor frame. So you can remove the blade and everything else stays on the vehicle. Transport mode is exactly the same as it was. Just leave yourself some slack and you can pin it like you do now.

      @@DemoDad101 cool ty, I tend to leave the interceptor frame on all winter but just take the plow off when not using it. Seems like a great upgrade that will work well with my usage. Thanks for the info.

    Does it have limit switches to shut off the winch so you don't break anything once it gets tight?

    • @DemoDad101
      @DemoDad101  Před rokem +1

      It must. It just stops moving once it’s tight.

    With the winch and down pressure kit added. Will this allow the plow to move snow in reverse eliminating the plow from folding forward when back up ?

    • @DemoDad101
      @DemoDad101  Před rokem

      No. It still can’t back drag.

      @TeslaIncome installed eye bolts on each end drilled through the rubber. Used oversized washer to prevent the eye bolts from breaking through the rubber. Ran a ratchet strap from one eye bolt to the other while wrapped around the back side of the mount. Works good

    Can you back drag with the winch?

      I’m not sure but it’s right on the agricover website.
