@@DBZ-Mousa I’m aware. But the point being is that whenever Shepherd or Vance was out of town. It seems only their most senior agents takes over as acting directors and not bringing actual directors in the chain of command to take over, like say a Deputy Director, assistant director, or even a executive assistant director. Like are there no directors in available DC? Because Vance was an Assistant Director of NCIS in California when Sheppard was in charge and he flew to DC when she was under investigation.
McGee would be a great choice to replaces Vance.

I can't get over the abslutely risble "German" BND id card displayed in this clip. This is a thing you would get in novelty shops. While "agent" is a thing in the US and has legal connotations there, it is NOT in any nation outside the US. The BND does not have any official enforcing powers, neither in Germany proper nor outside. An ID card would only have photograph, name, possibly the position or title and some sort of number. It can only be used as identification, not as a warrant card. It does NOT confer any authority on the bearer and using it in such a manner would be a felony since it constitutes an unauthorised asumption of authority.
It seems merkin TV producers just copy-paste the local brand of 18,000 competing enforcement organisations and don't do any form of basic research when it comes to things outside the USA. Of course that would require translating that for Joe Sixpack and Mary-Jane Rottencrotch, so I kind of get why they don't do this.
