It's like a self fulfilling prophecy huh. They are trying to save the world by creating the Chronicles, but it turned out, the Chronicles WAS the calamity in the first place... Edit: so I've rewatch this whole episode because of the Book of Tyrant update and I realized one thing. There was a scene where our MC got the memories of Evil MC. And in that brief flash of memories, we saw a couple of cutscenes coming from the Book of Tyrant game mode. Like when young Aslan got his Holy Sword for the first time. Or when the team fight an enemy in the middle of Antartica (lol I forgot that place's name. I just know it has ice everywhere). Then Evil MC said to our MC that those memories are their original memories. Memories they themselves accumulated over the years and not from absorbing their alternate timeline selves. So does that mean...the MC we played in Book of Tyrant mode are actually...Evil MC? After all, in a very early part of the Nightmare Mode, Ondal pointed out that we (our MC) looked like haven't experienced the Book of Tyrant story mode. But it's clear here that those memories came from Evil MC. Not our MC. Not to mention, Book of Tyrant mode came out BEFORE the Nightmare difficulty mode. I know we can't really judge a timeline of a story based on when the first game came out. After all, Legend of Zelda OOT game came first yet Skyward Sword was the very first in timeline, story wise. But still. Think about it Then again, MC in Book of Tyrant mode got an amnesia. And that story mode happened after the second timeline of the original timeline, not the third. So MC, not recognizing Ondal or Syphride or Brandon are reasonable. Because he really never met them in the first or second timeline. He met them in the third timeline, in Nightmare Mode. Well, we'll just have to wait for the Book of Tyrant mode to end. Maybe we'll get all the answer then 😌 Sorry for rambling haha. I'm so invested with this game dude 😂
