It's nice that a new set is coming out for Dexter's Lab soon, now the people who don't own this will be able to stop scrambling like crazy for a copy of this expensive and rare set.
@@dvdreviewsstudios I'd imagine image quality wouldn't be a problem, what annoys me more is that a lot of the latest Region 1 releases from WBD have had stacked discs which I'm not a fan of, Aqua Teen, the re-release of Adventure Time, etc. At least it's not as bad my Blu Ray set for the complete collection of Adventure Time where Seasons 1-5 have a Blu Ray case that's the same as a spindle with 6 discs on top of one another.
Dexter's Laboratory is one of my favourite cartoons growing up. I've managed to buy a copy of Dexter's Laboratory Collected Experiments boxset many years ago. I'm so lucky that I've bought it as this is super rare.

I adored this show as a kid, one of the best CN shows along with Powerpuff Girls and Ed,Edd n Eddy. A very funny show even as an adult and highly enjoyable from beginning to end. Very sad this series doesn't have a UK DVD release. My favourite episodes are The Big Cheese, Old Man Dexter, Last but not Beast and Mock 5. For the post Tartakovsky era its Blonde leading the Blonde, Dexter's Wacky Races and Dexter the Barbarian.

I remember watching the TV-Movie when it first aired over here. 'Sibling Rivalry', 'Let's save the world, you Jerk' and can't remember it's title but the episode where the music-teacher used R-Pay-Gee-O (or something like that) were brilliant.
Sucks that Barbequor (S1EP4b, banned due to copyright complications with marvel comics) is also missing since it was allegedly on Australia's Season 1 DVD in 2009 Also, the uncensored rude removal clip you showed is from an edit fans made around 2014. The official version Adult Swim released in 2013 had censor bleeps
I later learned about Barbequor being missing, such a shame! I've considered burning a disc with that and Rude Removal, to try and complete the collection 100%.
I'm very surprised they didn't re-release Dexter on DVD for the 30th anniversary. Would love to see more from Cartoon Network, but sadly they don't appear to care.
They really don't, and it's a huge loss for them really. Nostalgia is everywhere in pop culture today, these DVDs would sell really well. @@dvdreviewsstudios
Do you think there will be a reprint of that set or like a new set hopefully since we're getting Foster's home for imaginary friends complete series and Ed Edd n Eddy complete series? Thanks I mean I hope they do well because I would love to have this series on DVD as well and hopefully regular show in the future
I had the exact thought when I saw both the Fosters and Ed sets revealed (hoping to add both to the collection). CN would be foolish not to reissue this show on DVD, especially since this version remained exclusive to Australia.
When is the next collection update video coming also are you planning to do the Toy Story 1-4 ranking and review along with another complete collection video?

I honestly don’t mind the savino era. Sure the art style and writing went downhill it still wasn’t all bad.

I have been hunting for this! It seems nearly impossible to obtain. HBO just released Dexter's lab but the quality is not great and has interlacing.
Very difficult set to find! I'd recommend keeping an eye out on eBay, but it'll cost you a fair bit. Best of luck!

Yup! I honestly don't know too much about it, but I believe it had something to do with clearance issues on certain audio tracks.
