Well I can tell you that in contact lens solution they still grow. Nothing different than water.

@@dimitrije907 the fumes, especially with the reactions happening (especially the glove, as he explained they were almost all exothermic) there are noxious fumes coming off the items, bleach, and jar. Although this minor exposure really wont be that detrimental. He might have a cough for a day, but he will be okay.

You should do a double soak. Do your normal 30 day soaking with whatever, then afterward dump out the old liquid and replace it with a fresh batch of the same liquid and let it go again for 30 days. Curious to see if that would affect it

There's dislikes because the entire video is some guy standing in his garage and somehow being surprised that fabrics started falling apart after they were left in bleach for a month. Bleach is used to clean clothes because it's an acidic alkaline solution that GETS INTO THE FABRIC, so if you leave fabric in a liquid that is MADE to get into it and break shit down then it will break down the fabric as well. That's not science, it's common sense for fucks sake
