Cute. The adult cats are very patient with the kitten I think for a couple of reasons. 1. They were raised with love and affection. 2. They are so fat that they don't have the energy to ruin playtime for the kitten. Cheers

Felines are lazy, even the ones that aren't fat. They spend a huge part of any 24 hour period sleeping. And it's not a character flaw, it's just how their metabolisms work.

He's so skittish ! but the adult cat has seen this so many times.
Poor little kitten, all he wants to do is PLAY and the adults take his toys 😢🙄. But the funniest part for me is watching the kitten go from his sad cry to a hilarious, bodacious play attack on his elders. I realize it's all a part of growing up, and these kittens keep the elders in check!

It has to be such a joy to have a kitten in the home. It helps to bring excitement to the older cats. Kittens promote play time for all of the cats. Enjoy the kitten, they are small for a short period of time!

It seems, that nowadays, cats are given as much toys as kids, turning their home into storage of piles, in closets and on the floor, when that's allowed. I expect that soon, families with small kids, and cat-owners, living in such homes, will organize tea-parties, with a swapping of toys attached to it, and tabletop sales of.... stuff. That's a smart way of decluttering, and besides, it saves tons of material, like plastic, and aritificial fibres. For this form of recycling, preferably the clean and whole items only, is fun and useful.

I don't know if the black and white cat is the mom, but it clearly loves that kitten. You can see by the way it tolerates it and grooms it.
Grooming is part of the power dynamic. Sounds weird but grooming the other shows who's in charge.

@@bobboscarato1313 Actually I looked into it and only excessive grooming from one cat to another is a dominance act, and is usually paired with other acts of dominance, such as sitting on the other cat. Grooming is most commonly a sign of affection and care.
