This is the last match for the Converging Wills tournament from February
Despite how brain fried we were through a lot of it (I'm not a morning person)

Clean victory! Man, I wish that was me playing against you, just because I wish I was that good at FoW.
I love how they played Deathscythe! It comes in a little clutch sometimes with the anti-swiftness and the +2/+2 buff.

Starting the vid and already learned something new thank to your videos. Since I play "old school" FOW I didnt know the "foresee" mechanic could send the card to the bottom. Always thought it was only to see and know what your next card would be. 2.30 A 8/8 card with all those abilities being played on turn 1 and your response being "makes sense" XD. From what I can remember there is no judgement anymore but didnt FOW have the ruler and JRuler separated with a card being what made the actual "calling" of the Jruler side? Why is Breadnon's Alice have both a Ruler and JRuler side? 9.08 Maaaaaan!!! I was like "Noooo waaaay" "LECHEEEERO!" (Lechero means "milker" but in Puerto Rico we use it to signify a VERY lucky situation or person. Something similar to "Lucky bastard" I guess but with waaay more emotion. I still can't believe how nonchalant your reaction was in that situation. That Ayu is "busted" remember when effects like that weren't even in turn 5 resonators XD. Wow the last match, the way "holding' priority makes FOW really different to any other game to let you pull that combo is just insane. As always excellent video. PS Still can't believe that top decking inferno.

Yea I was like “Alright that’s an Order Alice staple of course”
I wouldn’t say that we no longer have “Judgement” as a mechanic
Some Rulers who have Judgement do still see play
Duel Cluster and the current Hero Cluster have just been doing different forms of getting J-Rulers
I’m nearly convinced that we will see Judgement make a return in a future set
Order Rulers have on their “Order” side an ability that lets them call a stone without needing to Rest their J-Ruler
So a common play for Order decks if they are going second is to pop their Will Coin and Order a 1 Drop and still get their Stone for the turn
O and Order Rulers have the Ruler side and the other side is the “Order” side which is basically like turning a Resonator into a J-Ruler
If that makes sense?

I was like “No way I caught that shit on camera too” way too lucky
Ayu is definitely deserving of the MR rarity
But you really gotta Order her to make the most of her or else she is just a solid 1 drop yee
Priority is a great mechanic in FoW yea
There’s not a ton of play lines where you can really take advantage of it but when you know how to use it it opens up your deck to other possibilities yee

@@RustinWW Yeah your insight and info are spot on as always, really clearing up some doubts I have on those situations. Now, this is more of a preference question more than anything. Do you like the way FOW change from the original "Fairy Tale" to the more "anime" type of style in the art works? I couldn't get past the new "frame" or "template" of the cards XD.
@@javehdiaz6456 the game was called “Anime MTG” a fair bit when it first launched so there’s that
That being said the art style has certainly shifted a little more towards anime inspired styles but we do still have some fairly non-anime looking art that pops up from time to time
Fairytales are still here but they don’t look as whimsical as they once did
That could also just be nostalgia playing a factor on our eyes
As for the templates I know a lot of people have differing opinions on them and there are benefits to each
I’m fine with the current template
I wasn’t a fan of it at first and still probably would have preferred they just stuck with the Lapis style template but I understand wanting to go back to what a lot of other card games do for their ATK/DEF locations
There justification for the change is fair but I feel like it could have been workshopped a bit more
The Full Arts look awesome with it though so there’s that yee
how about a 3 person ABC match recording?
I do plan to play ABC at FoW Fest but I’m not quite sure if I’ll be jamming a 3 player game or a 4 player game
But if the opportunity arises I’ll see what I can do yee
@@RustinWW k, thought the 3 person match might be semi playable online vs the 4 people one
@@roiad876 it might be playable online but the seating order for the players is meant to be random so we would need to be mindful of who goes after who
So turn order is easier to follow in person is all
And yes a 3 person game would be easier to follow but it will also require finding the time to record a game with two other players yee
