- Since getting my first pair of Hoka boots, a year or so ago, I've been keeping an eye on this company since they tend to drop a lot of slept on heat. Mainly in the boot department. These beauties dropped Summer '21 and I picked them up almost immediately. They are lightweight and comfy. Not quite as much cushion as the Tor or Kaha models but they feel like they were designed to be a sleeker, slightly less rugged version of those models. They're mid's but they look taller than they actually are. They also come in a black and a teal version. If I didn't already have the all black Kaha's I would have gotten these in black since it adds to the stealthy look. This Otter colorway is still fire though. There's also a low version. The Mid's retail for $180.

Ups driver in the PNW here. Just ordered this boot. A few other drivers in my center have them and rave about them. I’ve been buying Danner 600’s for years now and tbh getting bored with them so just wanting to try something new

Just ordered a pair in 13 but my Clifton’s are 13 wide… hopefully they fit it in love with these lol

How did the 13 fit? I wear 11 wide with my bondi 7 and wondering if i should order an 11.5 since they don’t offer a wide option..?
They fit great, they aren’t as roomy as my wife Clifton’s but they don’t hurt whatsoever. I haven’t gone out on a big trek yet though
Would you weawr these for working a job your feet or daily errands or too grippy and stiff?
I wear mine mainly for errands but they aren't stiff and the cushioning is pretty good. I'm sure they would make good work boots too
They are very confortable to walk and to be standing all day long
Do you have any issue with the middle lace loop digging into your ankle bone?
No I haven't had any issues with it. Did you size down?
@@SuprDpp I didn’t… I’m not sure how nobody else has this problem. Pretty disappointed cuz they seemed like hood shoes other than that. Returned ‘em

I had that problem also.I returned them and took another one and everything was ok.I think that some pair of shoes have some kind of design flaw.

Can I walk by snow in the winter in this boots longer?
I dont think they're designed for snow but they do have Gore-Tex

Can you run in these shoes? Looking for a supportive trail runner...
I haven't tried running in them. They're designed more for hiking but they definitely are supportive
you could, the midsole is def soft enough, but there’s probably trail runners that will suit your use case better. someone in a different vid mentioned using these as a winter runner
@@chaosdracos Not a bad idea using as a winter runner; in any case, I got a Speedgoat 5 and it just works so well for me going up mountains and trails. Very pleased.
How is Kaha and AnAcapa? Which one?
I like them both. Definitely more cushion in the Kaha but the Anacapa is good if you want a sleeker look

So said they don’t make Kaha mids anymore. I don’t like these AnAcapa. You think they will ever bring back the kahas
I hope so, Kahas are still my favorite Hoka boots
They just released the Kaha 2. But beware.. I bought it... and it's so uncomfortable and hard. Like no cushion AT ALL

I’ve read to size down a half size. I just bought a pair a half size down by a from my normal shoe size. I’ll update you when they come this next week if you’re still curious!

No didnt have any issues with sweating when i wore them
