absolutely never.... this price is insane! Also, I tried it out once because a friend of mine owns one and I think there are so many ways to achieve similar or even nicer hairstyles for a fraction of the price! But I love that you tried it out on different types of hair for people to see :)
Nope! I'm cheap and the tools I've had for 20 years work. Yup straightener, curler and blowdryer I got as a teen still work!
I love me some luxury stuff but nah.. I also prefer my hair straight and I absolutely loooove the Revlon air brush thingy. Omg it's so perfect for me ❤

No way it’s sponsored by Dyson. If it was, they would have taught them how to properly use it, starting with washed, damp hair. Like you said, it’s a DRYER-styler. Even called it a “blow dry brush” at one point, but nobody made a connection about needing wet hair. How? Why?
I agree!! You NEED damp hair not dry styles hair, it’s like the first instruction on it… how much research did they do. I usually love their videos but this was annoying.

but why would they try a hairdryer on dry hair?? I have had my air wrap for 1,5 years and at this point i can go from soaking wet hair after a shower to perfectly curled hair that lasts for 4 days in 20 minutes. it's definitely worth the money imo! it's the fact that you dry the hair into the shape, plus the "cool shot" to lock it in place that makes it last so long. if i curl my hair with a normal curling wand the curls fall out in an hour but this thing is legit the best purchase i've ever made regarding beauty/styling! i love itttt

Same I will wash my hair and then use the curling attachment on my wet towel dried hair and it will go from wet to dry and curled in 30 minutes which use to take me over an hour to blowdry and then curl. And after a little bit of hairspray I’m good to go and it lasts like 4 days sometimes longer

Hair needs to be WET!!! It's a blow dryer. Hair needs to be wet. At least towel dry.
Even in the video from Dyson that they inserted it says hold on your hair until it’s dry. Implying it’s supposed to be wet. It’s essentially like getting a heatless curl but faster. If you’re gonna try a product you at least have to follow the directions. But also you could tell it was some what of a brand deal. They were being too nice for something that expensive with little to no result with the way they used it.
Use on damp hair and switch off after cold shot, BEFORE removing from hair. I love it 😊❤️ also Love Jackie's excitement 😂.
Love you guys but I don't feel like this vid was helpful. Dyson or not, most people do not blow dry their hair dirty or dry. Would love to see a re-do with wet to dry! We'd have a better idea of the girls textures too if they were to start from wet hair.
Right? Let’s test a blow dryer-styler in one, on hair that has already been dried and styled. And talk about testing it on different hair types….that have already been heat treated into a different type. One even said it’s usually more wavy, but she straightened it, so want to see what it would be like on wavier hair. Ummm, that’s what you are supposed to represent, but….no. And poor Jackie with the brush, awkwardly wrapping it and having it all around the handle, so it’s doing absolutely nothing.
This video would’ve been so much better if at least one of you knew how to use the product. Sinead could have used the round brush to straighten her hair out. Sectioning makes a big difference too
I really think yall should have had a spray bottle or something for the testing. Regardless of that I just don't see this as a product to replace other blow dryers. I feel like unless you want the Baywatch hair it's no more useful than a regular blow dryer. Also Amber Ansah did a lot of video on her experience using the Dryson and she has afro curly hair.
I have really frizzy hair and all the hair dryers would make it worse so I never used them. But I use the dyson all the time because it doesn’t leave my hair frizzy
My hair is a lot less frizzy with a dyson than a regular hair dryer. I've had my dyson for over 2 years and I love it.
Not often do these videos irritate me but, why try on dry and styled hair if you’re reviewing a product… literally made no sense. You cant see how it works on dry hair

I’m not going to defend that ridiculously priced blow dryer, but they tried to style their already styled hair. So I agree it wasn’t great but they didn’t give the vacuum a chance either.

Nope! I'm cheap and the tools I've had for 20 years work. Yup straightener, curler and blowdryer I got as a teen still work!
You've got to use this on damp hair or it won't work. This whole video is driving all of us nuts, lol. Love watching the ladies test it, but you have to use it as intended.
I have an airwrap and while it does work when dry the best results that last longer is defo on wet hair I have medium/long thick hair curled it on freshly washed wet hair and it lasted 3/4 days before dropping out and I only hair sprayed it once

Re-try with damp hair and use the cold shot! It takes a few times to get good at it. It’s the only hair tool I use with the exception of a straightener on my cow-licks 😆
Also, overtime the lower heat is much better for your hair. This + the right products and my split ends are sooo much better.
This styler did not look like it worked on any of yall, except Jackie. Honestly all of you ladies hair looked better before you used it.
I have the Revlon round brush dryer, and it works amazing for blowouts and it can give some curl and it's a fraction of the price of this... I honestly wouldn't waste my money and people aren't looking for that tight curl with the style nowadays
It works so much better with damp hair and for me it replaced 4 tools for me so when you look at it that way its not as bad of a price point and its a Dyson so it will last a long time.

You need wet/damp hair!!!!! I have a Dyson and it's great to BLOW DRY.
If your hair is already dry and styled as their hair was, it's not going to do much. Please please please try again with a spray bottle and damp hair!!

I have a dyson airwrap, and I love it. I have had it for over 2 years, and it still works great. However, I did not get the standard model. I took a quiz, and it customized it for my hair type. I never spend that much money on stuff, but I used affirm and did a payment play so it didn't seem as bad to me. 😅 It was worth it for me. You should have dampened your hair first for it to style properly. Also they have a dyson straightener now. I've never bought the straightener but it think it would be fun for you guys to try it.

As someone who got it as gift from my fiancé, I could never live without it now that I have it. I would have never gotten it myself though so either way I would have been happy with and without it. IT DOES NOT REPLACE PROFESSIONAL STYLING! This is just a better option for the people who like to constantly style their hair with heat tools and want less damage, since it is pretty hard to damage hair with it. I have never damage my hair with my dayson unlike the hundred of times I’ve burn my hair with a curling iron in my teen years. ❤

The Dyson diffuser kit is 1000% worth it for wavy/curly hair. I've always had an expensive hair dryer, and it just absolutely is a game changer. I would never use the air wrap attachments for brushing through the hair just because the bristles don't look they have give for people with easily tangled hair.
But I'm also not sure how someone is going to test a hair dryer on completely dry/styled hair...

The biggest difference between the revlon brush styler and this is that this doesn't have the actual capability of getting too hot. It cannot cause heat damage. It checks its own tempos 1000x per second to stay below 212 i.e. the boiling point of water, and well within a healthy range of temp your hair can stand.
They need to do a side by side with the shark and damp hair.
I want to see how it works on sineads normal curly hair, along with Jackie and drew.

You guys should compare the Dyson to the shark flex style I don’t want to buy the Dyson but if it’s better then it’ll be worth spending 600 instead of 300
From someone who has owned the Dyson for more than half a year now: I have thick waist length slightly waivy hair. I start with it completely dripping wet and get it to curly within half an hour! Blow drying and then curling it with a curling iron would take me about one and a half hours. With the right products and putting them up for sleep the curls last me days! So definitely start damp and with some product for hold 😄 also try the smoothing/blow dry attachment next time! It gets my hair just as straight as a straightener and I ended up using it way more than I ever thought I would 😄 I demand a retry! Please watch some tutorials how to properly use it beforehand 😄

Not buying it for a second that this was all their first times using the dyson air wrap, this came across more as a sponsored, 'we're getting paid to say nice things about it' type of thing.
I usually love your reviews, but this one not so much. Just follow the instructions and wet your hair. It is a blowdryer that also styles. I still would never spend that much money, but the product is way better than you have shown

Wow, testing it and recommending it based off of using it the completely wrong way....
It's a hairstyler not a hair tool per Dyson, you're supposed to use it on wet hair and wet hair only. You do not use it on dry hair, period. Matter of fact the curlers don't even wrap on their own or hold a curl, if you your hair is not wet... Did y'all not watch any videos, not even dyson's videos, before reviewing for your channel and then recommending to your viewers. Dyson doesn't need the money, but if you we're reviewing an indy brand or a small business with absolutely no information and doing it completely wrong, and didn't recommend, like you did that time with the lady who did the boob things for the low-cut dresses, you could really cost a company its customers and in return the people behind the companies livelihood. But good thing you recommended a 600 Dyson by using it totally wrong, and it shows none of your hair looks remotely like it could with using it correctly. It's a conundrum that you would recommend, or getting paid to makes more sense.
