Cleaning a pipette

Cleaning out pipettes so that pipettes are not thrown away after single use. I immediately saw that this could be a student activity using microscale puddle techniques to monitor progress. So with 1M acid, students can test with Universal Indicator, silver nitrate or best of all a conductivity Indicator. The latter can be used for all solution containing acids, alkalis and salts.
