They’re actually in a good position with the salary cap, plus it looks like Wyc and the other board members are perfectly happy with paying the luxury tax for this team as long as they’re competing and winning every year
Second apron penalties won't kick in until after next year too. Plus the new tv deal will push the cap up. They are only 6 million into the projected second apron once the potential extensions to Tatum and White are signed i think. They also still have all of their own draft picks plus I think one from the lol KP trade.

I am an LA Lakers fan and I agree with Perk. When the Celtics traded for Holliday and Porzingus last summer, that is when the Celtics won this year's championship. I can see the Celtics winning a few more championships for the next 7 - 8 years.

A lot of people don't realize the Cs could of/should of 3 peated. That starting 5 of Perk, Rondo, KG, PP, Ray never ever lost a playoff series together. 09 no KG huge loss. 2010 were up 3-2 vs Lakers no Perk last game and a half. Would of def won in 2010 with Perk.

I think repeat teams are done. Each season it’s gonna be a toss up depending on if teams can afford to keep players. Folks chasing the bag more than they chasing a ring but the young teams could change that but who knows.
