  • Mark and Jon play two beautiful morris tunes at the Bridge, Newcastle. Played on melodeon and fiddle.
Mark plays a Castagnari Mory 2.5 row D/G/Acc melodeon.

The tunes in this little series of videos are jewels of the English repertoire, and you make them shine.

I like the way you have given it that feel of a celtic air, flowing and legato, nice tempo and if this is the right term , using the Scots snap, with fiddle and its improvisations adding to it all. Great. Have you done Dark Isle? That could suit the style.

every time i watch this i get baffled about how much you get out of this little tune, i play it too on accordion but would never be able to keep it up even half the time without it sounding repetitive.
