Very inspiring! Just started building today after finding the perfect beautiful spot to build a base. Of course it looks a lot like yours because I'm new to the game đ I have no idea what that is above your base but I have to agree with everyone else... it looks like a Borg cube. Run!!!
I built a base, after watching 2 of your videos, but I haven't seen any other videos since, tell today. So it very interesting, to see how our bases are very similar, but still different. I built my base with 4 landing pads, using your method, then i slapped up, some other buildings in between that are temporary but do the job for now..i guess i should say im new to the game and this is my first real base.
I finally started building my main base on the perfect planet. I am building on top of a large tall pillar and carved an opening on the side to store solar panels with batteries hidden inside. I also created a walk path extending off the pillar and placed my landing pad out there then began building the base and this tower will look great off of it too.
I want to build a Tesla Tower. Havenât tried my luck at glitch building yet. Wondered if you could build one and I could use your tips to refine mine. Your videos are amazing. Thanks and have a great day.

You have great ideas and build cool stuff, the biggest issue I have with the building sets is that the lighting sucks and always has, it is rather sad that NMS has not sorted that out by now, I feel stuck using the prefab square and circle rooms as the lighting in them is passable, the cuboid rooms are not terrible either, even with these new updated sets the light options just do not emit/project light enough, as for the thing above your base, looks like a borg cube to me.

Thank you for the excellent builds! By the way, instead of free placing the roofs, you can attach an arch to one of the inner roofs and snap the rest. Remove the arches afterward.

very nice style in your buildings. I used your power ring idea at my settlement and it adds a nice touch to the skyline of the town. previously I would glitch build EM generators and mineral extractors on the 4 faces of each segment of a cuboid frame (the one that is just steel bars and is open in the middle). i just keep stacking them to the sky to get insane amounts of power or minerals. from a distance, a tower loaded with EM generators look like a Christmas tree. the cube floating above your base looks like its made from foundation pieces for prefab buildings with all those long legs but its hard to say without a closer look. Side note, have you ever made a pyramid shaped building? i thought i saw a shape like that on one of your video thumbnails but i cant imagine how to glitch 4 triangles together at the top to form a point.

I forgot to ask. The roof gable part. Can you put walls underneath temporarily to get it to snap in place? I haven't tried that yet on my build as I am not that far into it. I think I might try it though. Oh and I forgot to say I love this video. It's very inspiring and I have been using a lot of your tricks lately in my builds. It has made building easier for me. The roof gable doesn't snap to a wall either. Not sure if that's a bug or intended. That's also the reason why i placed it like that in my video. Try to align it as best as you can.

One can dream...
Just use the short range teleporters and put them inside a room resembling an elevator. When I push the button the door closes and I end up on another floor. It works perfectly after they fixed the power bug.

Love your vids. I actually came across one of your discovered systems recently with a base on the planet closest to the spacestation. But in no way could I actually find the base. It said in the discoveries menu that there was one but it didn't show up in game. Weird huh?

Yes, the adjacency glitch still works and there's a so called universal adjacency glitch that let's you switch between all building parts no matter if they're adjacent in the build menu.

Ok that's one of the best building series for someone who just started to build. Like me. It's not to complicated and shows off everything perfectly.
Question is there a way to combine the regular base pieces with the pre fab buildings a bit better? I like the cuboid rooms, because of their great lighting, but it's so hard to line then up properly. Is there a way to combine this a bit more seamlessly? I struggle a bit with this.
hmm try using holodoors. youâll have to put two holodoors to connect both sides tho. itâs this way with connecting cuboid and large prefab rooms as well

I was going to suggest to visit my Activated Indium Farm if you're cash strapped. However, i realized that there isn't a video online about that. I'll be revisiting the Farm in the next video, to get you a few 100 million units, to get you going.
I've got to ask (since I didn't see it in part 4) how did you attach the S-class power spot to your base? I have one about 280 units from my base and did the same thing, but the power cables won't reach all the way to my base.
Place some battaries between you base and the Hotspot to bridge the gap

@@Koichiisama I think cables can run a maximum of 200 units. If you're cheap, you can just run a cable as long as it will go, then connect another section of cable to the first cable. Many people, including myself, build electrical towers using half arches or other building materials and place plain wall lights on them. This way, you add a bit of flare to your build. Also, each base has a default maximum build radius of 300u around the base computer, but if you place something, like a piece of wood, at that limit, then you extend that limit by around 50u radius around the object, up to 1000u absolute maximum from the base computer. So if you ever have to run power from far away (800u in my case), you have to build something every 50u in order to build your power generator.

Been trying for an hour now on my console and I cannot get those roof panels to snap in. It won't let me put them in at that angle. Any advice?
There seems to be a bug in the current version that keeps parts from snapping into place. I hope they'll fix that soon. The only advice i can give you is to change the viewpoint while you're in the build camera mode. That helps sometimes.

I've been hitting the wire glitch on xbox by pressing Y and RT pretty much at the same exact time. Was able to get that doorway adjacency glitch after 5 or 6 tries as well, that one was a good bit trickier with the timing. Good luck.
