I still dream once and a while of holding her hand or seeing her in a wedding dress. This is my favorite song and it is her to me. Can not listen with out tears flowing down my face. This is what Soul music is about. I am 66+ now and still feel a love for her as strong as ever. I always will as long as I have this song.

A classic time in music, when love forcefully gripped the emotion. This beautiful song, certainly, amplified strong feelings from that era!

I am still listening to this song, October 4, 2020. I was in the 9th grade in 1970 at Whitted Junior High School in Durham, North Carolina when this song came out. That was 50 years ago and so much has happened in my life good and bad. I miss this music and old friendships from back in the day in school.
