To combat this you need to use a product specifically targeting this. Dry shampoo and hydrating serums will not make a huge difference 🥺 Dry scalp on the other hand can be a result of drying products, such as dry shampoo. It might be helpful to first find out which you have a problem with, and use the best products for that specific problem ☺️

The “check your straw for nasties” killed me 😂😂 I won’t give any details about what happened to me with my straw…but I will say that that is the best advice anyone can give. 🤣 I use glass straws now.

I tried changing up my hair care routine with no real success and the finally i switched out the blow dryer for a less powerful one and over the next 6-9 months i noticed a turn around in my hair. It was just my experience and the dyson is truly innovative but perhaps too aggressive for my chemically treated hair (even on low heat). i think that if you are attached to the dyson, then use a good heat protectant to see if that helps or reduce how often you use it.

For the k18, really rub it in your hand first until it turns white. It goes a long way when you do it that way, it makes it creamy and the product doubles so you should only need a pump or 2 depends on how thick your hair is.

L’Oreal Professionell Vitamino shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair (in a pink bottle) is really good. I don’t rinse the conditioner but work a small blob into soaking wet hair, then wrap it in a towel for 10 minutes. I have bleached hair and it’s really improved the condition. Also, as someone else said, you can make the K18 go a lot further if you rub it into your hands so it goes white. Let’s face it, it’s expensive stuff so you want to get the most out of it! xx

I have been going through a long hair journey for the past few years. Biggest tips I’ve learned that have helped my hair grow back to my lower back is double cleansing for scalp health. I use head and shoulders as my first cleanse (the zinc pyrithione is great for dandruff and a deep first cleanse. I then follow up with whatever my favorite shampoo is at the moment. On days that I’m using k18, I will then do that, rinse after the 4 minutes, and follow up with my favorite mask at the moment. On days that I’m not using k18, I will use a pre shampoo oil treatment at the ends of my hair to protect the ends in the shower. Following washing, I will let me hair air dry about 70% of the way, then I will put in my favorite products and only use a comb to brush through the wet hair. I use the dyson to dry and style the rest of the way, and then I make sure to use a finishing styling oil every single day before my next wash to protect the ends throughout the week. Most importantly, I stopped coloring my hair as much. Everytime you color your hair, you have to restart the entire 6 wash process of the k18 each wash all over again. At this point, I just use k18 once a week or as needed since not coloring my hair. Lastly, I sleep on a silk hair bonnet to protect my hair during sleep. I really hope this helps you and you gain some tips. As a back story, I bleached my hair for years to the point that it was like straw and at the point of my shoulders. Could never grow further than that bc my ends were constantly breaking off. After changing my techniques, it is down to my butt. It’s journey and an adjustment, but it’s a lifestyle change, and a rewarding one at that :)

Hey 😊 i’ve heard that using a scalp exfoliator really works for dandruff and or dry scalp. I see a lot of people have great results with Act+Acre Salicylic Acid Scalp Exfoliator And they also have a product that stimulates growth as well. And their before and Afters were crazy. See if you like it?!
I love Act and Acre, aside from their shampoo and conditioner, which imo only works if you have excellent water or a softener system. Their dry powder shampoo is really good too. I think it’s the aerosol fragrant ones that cause people to have scalp issues. ✌🏼
Hi! I used to have a really bad dandruff, tried LiTeRaLLy everything and then I came across Vichy Dercos shampoo (I use the one for normal-oily scalp) AND MY DANDRUFF IS GONE. I love it so freaking much, although the smell of it it quite strong and manly and the colour (it’s yellow) looks alarming 🤣 I’m never gonna stop buying it 💸
For hair, I’d just recommend a scalp massager that you use all over your head in the shower once you’ve applied shampoo. I got a cheap one from miniso and it helps make your scalp feel clean, stimulates- making your hair feels stronger and brings back some fullness. Treatment wise, highly recommend aarvani hair density. I was feeling that my hair was a bit thinner near the hairline and sides, and it’s helped with the above to bring it back fuller. You can apply daily and it doesn’t make it oily. These two things have made such a big difference for me ❤

The ouai air dry foam was recommended to me as well and it is a good one! I am on my 2nd bottle! It doesn’t leave my hair crunch but soft and wavy.😊

I love Act and Acre, aside from their shampoo and conditioner, which imo only works if you have excellent water or a softener system. Their dry powder shampoo is really good too. I think it’s the aerosol fragrant ones that cause people to have scalp issues. ✌🏼
Neutrogena T/Sal (salicylic) shampoo is sooo good at removing buildup on the scalp. I swear by this stuff!
Try the k18 dry shampoo!!

For your dandruff, clean your hair more often and use a silicone scalp massager when you wash your hair.

Hi! I used to have a really bad dandruff, tried LiTeRaLLy everything and then I came across Vichy Dercos shampoo (I use the one for normal-oily scalp) AND MY DANDRUFF IS GONE. I love it so freaking much, although the smell of it it quite strong and manly and the colour (it’s yellow) looks alarming 🤣 I’m never gonna stop buying it 💸

For hair, I’d just recommend a scalp massager that you use all over your head in the shower once you’ve applied shampoo. I got a cheap one from miniso and it helps make your scalp feel clean, stimulates- making your hair feels stronger and brings back some fullness. Treatment wise, highly recommend aarvani hair density. I was feeling that my hair was a bit thinner near the hairline and sides, and it’s helped with the above to bring it back fuller. You can apply daily and it doesn’t make it oily. These two things have made such a big difference for me ❤
