Thanks for posting this excellent review of the Honda Jazz. I've run a regular version (1.4 ES, (UK)) for three years and covered 50 000 miles and it still feels like new. The hybrid is intriguing, I like the dashboard meter for the charge/boost so you can monitor the electric motor activity. You can't beat the Jazz for practicality; I've transported 2 full sized bicycles (front wheels removed) and even fitted a two-seater sofa in the back.
Must be UK built as indicators are on the left stalk for RHD. UK market has totally focused on the LHD market for exports so their controls are not ergonomically aligned for the driver.
Ahh.. haha. It has only started coming out on the newer Hondas such as the 2012 Insight, 2012 Jazz Hybrid, 2011 Accord 2.4, etc. All others still use the simple key design. =)
I know right! This car should be in the US market as well. And I dont think we have that nice switchblade key either which looks a million times better than the cheap looking key they use here.
I am one of the first batch jazz hybrid owner in Malaysia, the sound proof quality is fantastic as you can see from the video.

It was built in Japan. IMO, I prefer this setup where the lights/indicators stalk are on the left while the wiper stalk is on the right.
As for the combination of CVT and motor, acceleration is really fun.There is torque from a low turn

I didn't drive it a lot, just round the parking lot, but it is nice to drive in that short distance. =)

And it's kinda unique, it's Right-hand drive but the light and wiper stalk like the left-hand drive model...
