@@haysen123 in Let's Go, usually after catching Pokèmon, you will receive certain candies that you can give to increase stats - if you repeatedly caught Caterpie / Metapod / Butterfree, then you have chances to get specific Caterpie Candies which increase EACH stat by one, rather than one stat at a time! Hope this helps!

Really the only "pay to win" things you can buy with it are TM's, but by the time you beat the main story you usualy have enough to buy most the important TM's. I like the idea of co-op play cause I messed around with a buddy with low levels, everytime we got stronger we switched out our team and never used the candies...sucked though cause the forced team battles of Jessie/James cancels player two and forces player 1 to control both Pokemon. Blank uses helping hand, Blanker used Explosion-DAMMIT these our our last 2 pokemon and you choose that?
I hope it's rainbow rocket difficulty throughout the game. -But not bw1 Ghetsis hydreigon hard.- Or even better, just add difficulty settings which are all unlocked from the start.

@@Jaeger460 It's been a thing since Gen 6/X and Y. It isn't always the phrase "saved by love" - sometimes it's a like "Blastoise held out with 1 HP to make you proud!" and stuff like that. It also sometimes shrugs off statuses affects, or lands more critical hits. It was the main reason to use Pokemon Amie - the affection value is what affects these sorts of things.

This video is as advertised. People saying it's not level 3 because he gave it candies to boost its stats aren't making sense. The only other way he would have won is if he used glitches and if he did that would have been no fun (to some). He used what is in the game to do exactly what he said so what is the problem? He showed that it is possible through normal means and that is wa more impressive than a glitch to me.

It's not even a question of "Is it?" It's a blatant "It Is."
To be fair, it has been getting easier and easier with each game in the series. I went back to play Yellow, and even though the original games don't have a bunch of things people now consider "staples" of Pokemon, it still isn't that difficult. I'm just gliding through it. Went back to play Red and Blue as well, thinking maybe my Pikachu was just OP. Nope, still relatively casual game. I don't see why people have this notion in their heads that these games were ever really difficult. We created the challenge for ourselves through specific requirements we would set, through each run. This game is really no different.
It's a game made for kids so not like you can make it to hard
Honestly the "hardest" a pokemon game ever been is the first time through Sun or Moon and you run into the first boss pokemon that had the z attack behind them. Mainly because most people where not expecting it to do that. The fight seems easy if you prepared for it. Mind you, I never played a pokemon game, so I am online judging by what I seen online.

@@dancorps1388 Personally, I've never had a problem with "too easy". I tend to pick mons based on themes or randomly which can lead to some bad teams and I barely if ever do anything to set their stats up. It's less that the series is getting easier tbh and more that older players are trying way too hard. Although, yes: the series is getting easier.
Edit: I literally never realized the exp share works on the whole party simply because I never used it until I got online and saw people whining about it. It's quite insane really, they use all the power ups and items that buff their pokemon to max stats then expect a difficult playthrough. That'd be like if I punched myself in the face as hard as I could and expected the experience to be pleasurable.

It doesn't have the stats of a level 3 metapod period.... trivial or not that's not what it says in the title of the vide hence, The title is abit misleading and just Abit of click bait for the CZcamsr.
One of the points of the video is to show how trivial the awakening system makes the game, which contributes to why it's called easy.
In NO other Pokemon game can you pull off a feat even remotely similar to this no matter how many items you have.

While we get the argument that it is a lvl 3 metapod with no attack moves and that he used ingame systems to pull this off, it wasn't EASY. He actually did struggle and almost had his run terminated prematurely. On top of that, this was a PLANNED run. I could plan to run a lvl 1 fear rattata in the previous gens and have THE EXACT SAME result. What has changed, is how Let's Go handles pokemon stats. And to be honest, I'm glad I can make my favorite pokemon relevant and beat the game with it for a change. Is this healthy for competitive? Probably not. But for a casual side game that is trying out new ideas, its perfectly fine. Last I checked, this isn't main line.
I agree, but a little side comment. The developers have mentioned many times over that they do consider it a mainline game. Just as much as fire red or soul silver. Potentially falling into its own timeline, just like many of the Pokemon games do. And if any future games come out that utilize these ideas, they will probably fall into a Let's Go game than fall into a new gen.
If you cant train your fav pokemon enough to make it strong enough to win in older gens...it wasnt your favorite. Taking away the grind is one thing, but Let’s Go forces everyone on Easy Mode

it is clickbait tho, this is a level 216 metapod, it has stats higher than any natural level 100 pokemon. The real title should be beating elite four with lvl 216 metapod. You would need to cheat or put HOURS into the game to get that many caterpie candies but the title makes it seem like you can just roll upo with nay fresh metapod

The reality is that you need to put several hours into the game what he did which is logical when it comes to beating the elite 4. If the title was "I put hours into the game then beat the elite 4" nobody would watch, so he made it seem like he beat the game easily with a lvl 3 metapod not a lvl 216 metapod like it really is

In the end, if this metapod was level 99 it would still be more impressive than beating this with a lvl 216 metapod, which is what this is. He has put the equivalent amount of time in and the only thing that hasn't changed was the level,

@@duaaal it still shows how incredibly easy this game is. Getting the candies is not that hard at all, so making your Pokemon stronger is so simple.
After that it was a case of using items to heal as the Metapod whittled down the E4. Even with those stats, the elite four should be able to do better. It shows how weak they are at face value lol.
