One of the better versions out there!
Beautiful voices singing on this song!
Best Civil War song, beautifully done! Thank you.
Read about this in 'Gone with the Wind'...
I recently re-read GWTW, after about 40 years, first reading it in high school. I came to appreciate more fully Mitchell's wordcraft. Only book she ever published but, boy, could she write.
Also more appreciated, her attention to historical detail. If she wrote it happened, you darn well better believe it happened, and with the characters and dates she wrote that it happened. The historical aspects of GWTW, not the fictional accounting of the love story, are very accurate.
A new Civil War love story, Dearest Love (Do You Remember) by Patrice Wayne was inspired by this song!
These gals are great! Can you post this in its entirety? Do you do any others? Thanks.
heartbreaking
Where can I find this version in full?
That blonde female singer is beautiful, and her voice is singer. What is her name?
