I can attest as a professional drummer I have one of their nesting kits, and it absolutely KILLS! Farmer is no joke. Great video on them

They also make portable complete drum sets. Interesting that they make some of the metal hardware themselves. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

He talks a little about those towards the end, but unfortunately the ones he had on hand were being used for a festival that weekend.

What an interesting and very informative episode in this great series of yours, Mike. This was all so very new to me as far as the foot drum concept goes. All through the show I kept trying to envision this great looking contraption doing what it does. I wish there had been an actual demonstration of what can be done using a foot drum. I’m sure I can find a video out there somewhere.
Thanks so much for taking your time to put this great show out there for all of us. You hit another one out of the ballpark, my friend. See you next month. Can wait to see hat you have hidden up your sleeve.

I just ordered a backbeat last week (my name was probably on one of those papers on the wall!). I’m super excited, so I’ve been looking into how they’re made/ behind the scenes. So glad I found this video!! You were so polite and did a great job of covering the shop. Thanks for posting!

I LOVE the Mini Drumkit idea! Make an instrument suited perfectly for multi instrumentalists who really REALLY like playing drums LOL...and also busking!

My daughter’s HS marching band has a special needs drummer, they got him one of Pete’s foot drums and set him up in the pit with it.

Wow, that is really inspiring and I love the creativity of that HS to be inclusive for people who wouldn't be able to play traditional marching instruments.

I do a one man band routine, for fun, and occasional profit. I've got 5 cowbells on the floor, right side, 7 bicycle horns in the middle, and a tambourine on the left, all on floor, attached to a thick cardboard base. I have a right shoe with a drum stick stuck in it to play the cowbells, and stomp on the horns with both feet. The main instrument is a 95 year old Hohner Melodion, (accordion) and small whistles in my mouth, or gas pipe around my neck. I used to play a jews harp, one handed, and a flute/kazoo with my nose. Sounds weird, looked weird, which was the point.
The gas pipe is great, because it has 2 octaves, hits most notes, and can be played breathing in or out. And it looks weird, since I added a plastic trumpet bell to one end. Pick one up new at the hardware store, degrease it with soap and water, maybe cut off the big nut at one end, and bend it around your neck, so it's within easy reach of your mouth. I put a rubber mouthpiece on it so I can bite down on it to keep it in place.
I play with a drum circle, for retirement homes, and elementary schools.
