Most of them are forgettable because they aim to be generic so it reaches more viewers instead of a small group.
Many people shit on Mushoku Tensei for the protagonist Rudeus, but I bet is one of the few names you will ever remember from an isekai mc

Bruh 💀 really? Well, I'm an isekai trash. So, I guess I don't have any right to disagree.
Personally, I think cheat magician, and conception are both some of the worst of the worst. The only one I can think of that can compete with them is Fruit of Evolution which literally just repeats almost all the same story beats as arifureta at the start. And then, unlike arifureta, creates a story that instead of slowly getting better and better, just gets worse and worse.

Honestly, what connor says is true, there are so many forgettable ones that it is hard to pick one but the one that sticks the most to me is the one where the Guy gets isekaid with a smartphone. That one was really absolute garbage, It really surprises me that some people actually managed to watch the entire thing.
tbf while the anime absolutely butchered it, the manga and the novels are... kinda enjoyable-ish? It's not that bad and while it's a lot clichè it's far from the worst.
@@bananasmoussestachio9017 Yeah, the anime felt super rushed. I literally could not stand watching more than 3 episodes. I always assumed that the manga was a little better because manga tends to go slower but after the experience with the anime I never really felt like reading it. Maybe I will read the manga but idk about the novel, way too much commitment.
Any isekai with a heavy lean on the harem is mostly trashy.
I really enjoyed it, but it might just be because it was one of the first 10 anime i have ever watched...

Basically every isekai that have overpowered MC or harem stuff, in other words almost every isekai that ever existed.
Grimgar was pretty darn good tho
it really depends on how it's written, the best isekai still have those things but it just puts a unique spin on it, for example overlord has an op mc but a lot of it is politics instead of slugfests every ep.

@@randomdude2004 Rezero has been made two times by seperate studios right? One 2016 and one in 2019. Which one should I watch ? I've also heard the 2019 one has like 12 episode each an hour long with good animation while the 2016 one has mid animation

After going through my MAL, I realise that I've rarely given an Isekai anime a very low score. But I think it's because I never really finished a lot of the bad ones. If it's from the ones that I've completed, I would say Shichisei No Subaru is my least favourite. 😁

i simply don't watch any trash isekai so i can't really say. but if i have to tell what's my least favourite from the isekai shows that i've watched it's probably overlord, idk about the LN but we are already on the 3rd season (4 is on the way) and things are still practically the same with ainz showing off his powers. i don't think i ever saw him struggle and seeing that for 3 seasons is kinda boring, and the story is still kinda the same of him trying to expand his "kingdom" to the human countries.

Let's be honest guys most good isekais r always get buried n get hidden by those bad ones thats why when people hearing a series is an isekai people will immediately think it's trash. Hope we're getting good ones more often than those generic trash ones so that will see that isekai isn't a bad genre

Kenja no Maho is the worst for me. Trapped in a dating sim is a different kind of trash. A good kind of trash which still is entertaining despite the MC taking stupid decisions.

I am a total isekai trash person, just like Gigguk. I'm up to date on about 50 different Isekai series and I'll say my bottom 5.
Shield Hero - Writing is just garbage. Don't try to make your protag look good by making EVERYONE ELSE insanely stupid and insanely evil. 5/10.
MILF Isekai - Worse than the sum of it's parts, if you want to be wholesome, be wholesome, if you want to be fanservice trash, be fanservice trash. Trying to do both makes both aspects worse. 4/10
In another World with my Smartphone - Painful Generic. OP protags only work if you put them in fun situations, whereas protag-kun just goes around solving mundane shit and women throw themselves at him. 3.5/10.
Conception - Just shit, all around shit. Bad idea, bad execution. 3/10
The Healing Wizard in Another World - OP adopts a daughter, and then they NEVER STOP FANSERVICING THE UNDERAGED CHILD and constantly being like "oops, the protag is ALMOST doing lewd things to the UNDERAGED CHILD that is supposed to be his DAUGHTER." 0/10.
Edit: Also I'll shill for Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. It's not for everyone, but I think if you want a slow-life kind of series, where OP protag has FUN with their OP powers. It's pretty underrated IMO. But don't watch the anime, it fast forwards the plot so fast. The Manga is like 90% of the Light Novel content, so it's a really faithful adaptation. Highly recommend the manga or the light novel.
I've seen all the series you listed except Healing Wizard (Guess I have another trash isekai going on my plan to watch) and all I can say is, thank you for saying Shield Hero sucks. Season 1 was... fine, definitely had flaws but didn't feel terrible to me until the last arc. Season 2 has just been a mess though and luckily, most others I see seem to agree. It's getting better, still not good, since Kizuna was introduced. It's just crazy to me that they were so confident in Shield Hero doing well that they announced season 2 and 3 at the same time and now season 2 is struggling.
You hit Milf Isekai right on the head, it needed to pick to be either fan service trash or to just go full wholesome with the relationship between him and his mom, not both.
Smartphone, the only thing I can say about that, other than it's bad, is I found enjoyment in it due to just how stupid it was. Like compared to other power fantasy isekais, it just has this vibe to it thats relaxing. It's a good turn your brain off kind of a show, still trash though.
Conception, if that racoon didn't exist, show would've went up a point or two for me. So from a 0.5/10 to a 1.5/10.
I agree with most of this but I could easily name like 5 other isekais that are significantly worse than shield hero, at least some of the shield hero characters are developed. some other recent Isekais that could easily take shield heros spot could be: Isekai cheat magician, the fruit of evolution and the hidden dungeon only I can enter. watching these is genuinely painful wouldn't recommend

Are you talking about the animes only or the pieces in general? Cause for Shield Hero I've read the entire novel and to it's completely different from the anime, I would say they changed so many things and weirdly adapted others that the anime became a separate thing from ghe rest of the series
And I agree that the anime got really bad while 1 season was fine, and from my point of view it'll only get worse

It's not. Isekai is better translated as different world, a otherworld or other world not another world. The western version of this is Portal fantasy. The key defining aspect of Isekai is that the fantasy world and real world are completely separated.

Executioner's way of life. It had everything, from animation to songs to fight scenes. However, it drops the ball with such unlikeable and annoying characters that it's hard to watch them interact with each other
Bruhhh ikr? Such a shame. It had the potential to be pretty great, with a unique world, magic system, animation, etc.
But then it just felt like they went out of their way to make every single character as insufferable as possible.
Nah honestly, I think its good. It flips the viewer from a typical isekai story into one where they take back their world which was over runned by all these isekai'd people. Its a good concept and sure can be a little dull. There are some good characters and story moments.

Almost all the other shows are in the "they kinda exist I guess" catagory, but I would watch them over MT purely because they don't have Rudy or his dad
