The 4 Essential Parts Of A Successful Flyer (You Can't Miss A Single One)

  • Flyers and Print Mail are NOT dead. But making a flyer that's effective is crucial. Prices of postage and printing are only going up unfortunately so it's crucial to do it properly.
    I do see this as an opportunity because so many businesses out there are doing it wrong and it's becoming a less cluttered space as more people more online and digital.
    The 4 components of a success flyer are:
    1. Design
    2. Promotion
    3. Timing
    4. List
    If you miss any of these, you're campaign is going to end up in the landfill and your ROI will be horrendous.
    Flyers are an amazing way to get your brand out there, and spark interest immediately. You should see results without ten days after dropping it off at the post office. Please make sure you answer your phone :)

    I'm starting out in lawn care (May 2023) and looking to advertise next year (2024) and a few friends of mine have said this is one of the best ways to advertise. I'm very grateful for the advice you've given in this video to turn my current crappy idea of a flyer into a decent one that will attract the desired clients.

      When first starting, flyers can be expensive. The best way to get clients starting out is door to door.

    Damn. 1 million flyers? Even if it was 5 cents per flyer that's $50k, not to mention the cost of deliver. Who has that kind of bank to spend on advertising? And wouldn't that overwhelm your company/be overkill?

    • @JamesSzojka
      @JamesSzojka  Před rokem +1

      Depends. If you scatter the delivery a week apart then it isnt too bad. Lots of companies spend over $100k in marketing per year

    I own a business as a Secular Funeral Celebrant and Memorial Slideshow Editor. I craft personalized, customized, meaningful funeral ceremonies and Celebration of Life events with rituals, soul-sketch style eulogies that capture who the person was and really are emotionally resonant and powerful and truly provide comfort and closure but mostly my market isn't just anyone who dies, but specifically nonreligious people/ people unaffiliated with a local church/mosque/temple, not practicing a religion. I've been having trouble figuring out how to get the word out about my services so the right people see my message. The memorial slideshows I edit with professional video editing software and experience and I think anyone planning a funeral could use these services. I'm making flyers to hang up on coffeehouse bulletin boards and pamphlets to display in funeral homes and other venues that are willing to take them; brochures/pamphlets to give to assisted living communities and nursing homes and hospices. I appreciate your content nonetheless for helping me think through which parts of this might be translatable to my business and which aren't. The hardest part of all this is probably that sales and discounts on funerals feels like it doesn't make sense and isn't appropriate for our line of work
