Michael Shannon is an INCREDIBLE actor, for that reason alone I’d listen to him in a band. There’s so many great actors who do music. We as people are never just one thing, but I get what he’s saying and where that comes from.

They just "go with the crowd". He is actually quite talented. "Has Been" is his best work and an awesome album all around.

Hands down Jared Leto is the worst actor and musician.
I went to the taste of chaos tour as a teen when he played. He asked if we wanted an encore and we yelled no. So they played 5 more songs while the used was getting ready. I have never heard a crowd yell so clearly for Jared Leto to get off the stage as I did that night. He tried everything to get us on his side, yet we booed and jeered for his very removal. Jared Leto disgusts the music community

I listens to theor music as a teen (beautiful lie was the first song i heard of theirs, i was 11/12, must've been '05/6. I liked the music then, up until this is war, that was their big break i think, as in getting really massive, & they did that huge worldwide tour for a year or something that broke a Guinness record i think. After that the music was, meh. I have heard he keeps his music & acting worl seperate, like if he's being interviews or at an event for the band, he won't talk about a film he working on or vv, so he doesn't use one platform to promote the other like so many do (the amount of singers that get acting roles & are horrid [cough Beyonce], is crazy), so if that's true i do respect that. Bit in recent years when he's become this weird celeb (like more rhan most), I meam I don't even watch much red carpet stuff but I've heard him go on about gucci like he works for them (idk if that just because if the film, but i think it was even before that, or maybe he'd shot it bit hadn't come out yet), hes sostenuto become annoying to wrok with being so method, like using crutches to go to the toilet for morbius (which is not method at all, like bale or ddl do, where you just don't get it off character in accent or mannerisms). He didn't seem like a chill guy, not anymore at least

Some actors can really sing, jared leto has a proper band (30 secs to mars jic), that was successful before he really became known for acting, he said he doesn't talk about one job if the interview/ event etc is about the other, he wants to keep them seperate. But whether he truly does that all the time idk, could be reverse psychology or maybe he does play his own songs at parties or something
