I’m saying this even when I am of both Kenzie and sky; sky was amazing and had no dance experience. She had pure natural talent and worked hard to improve and the judges saw that. Kenzie was so gifted and talented but she was a dancer for years and the judges knew that. Sky learnt fast and beyond limits; she is so brave and she deserved to win
Well Kenzie wasn't experienced in ballroom. However I have to agree with you. Sky was comitted to every stunt. She started with no experience and jumps directly to the big stuff... in heels

all of the girls danced in heels it’s ballroom. they gave them kitten heels though which is good. also it’s not that difficult doing these types of dances in heels because all of your weight it usually on the balls of your feet to begin with. still very impressive and she did amazing but heels aren’t that bad.
Sky is not only a pro skateboarder and pro surfer, but she is an angel at dancing! Sky and JT are the best!

Honestly, my favorite performance was when they danced to thunder. The flips and the chemistry was just killing me. I could also see how much she improved too!

just a person having fun i think everyone deserved it. Kenzie is already a dancer her whole life and sky had shown dance moves that aren’t easy for someone who is 10 and never danced, in a short time. I didn’t get the ‘wow’ factor when I watched kenzie.
it’s so hard to believe that sky had no dance experience before this. i’ve been dancing for 5+ years and i’m still not this good.
Sky is very athletically gifted and does a lot of professional skateboarding and surfing. That includes lots of stretching, and shes young so her flexibility is very good to start with. Her balance and strength from skateboard and surfing gives her an advantage. If you mean you've been dancing recreationally for 5 years, that means you might be taking 2-3 hours of dance per week. Sky was doing almost 40 hours of private lessons for 10 weeks. If you had a personal trainer and choreographer and danced for 40 hours per week, you would get good fast too. Anyone who puts in 40 hours of work a week into anything + gets a good mentor can have marked improvement, no matter where they start

A very talented and athletic girl for sure. Can't qait to see her skateboard in the Olympics. She already is ranked very high in the world for female skateboarders and has so much Gold in her future. A truly fun loving, cute and inspiring young girl. Tony Hawk loves this girl. Sky rocks, You have to love this kid, for sure. Hell, I am 71 and she inspires me. Almost went out and bought a skateboard for myself, but then I gave it a little more thought. haha. Sky is a rising star and will be on many Olympic podiums with Gold hanging from her neck. Go Sky!!!!!

I hope they do a tour just like the adult version - it would be a great option for a kid friendly show... they are all adorable -- by the way, I noticed that in the final salsa dance with the trio - Alan and JT made mistakes, but Sky was perfect. I hope she keeps on dancing, maybe forming a pair with JT himself... This show was a super cool idea and it was a blast watching it.. it´s just impossible to think anything negative watching these kinds dance... Keeping my fingers crossed next season comes up soon...

Miles and Makenzie might have danced a little better, but the improvement and chemistry is really why she won. She or Miles should have won I think. Her are my scores for each dance:
Salsa: The dance was a little simple, I think the frame was a little messy and stiff, and she wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was cute, nice facials, and it looked clean. 7.
Cha Cha: It had a lot of Cha Cha, and there was more steps in it. Still a little simple, but clean, and I think she needs a little more hip action to match her partner. 7.
Contemporary: Yess beautiful lift, and beautiful dance. She makes the perfect Moana. I would say the landing after the lift was a little wobbly, and the front handspring was messy, but great. 8.
Jive: Great jive, lots of footwork and facials of course. I love the backbends and spins. Technique lacked a bit in some areas, and the song wasn’t my favorite, but that isn’t their fault. 8.
Samba: She has great samba hip action, and samba technique. I thought the song could have matched a little better, and maybe her arms were too soft. 8.
Foxtrot: Beautiful, sweet, nice frame, footwork, beautiful drop and everything! 10!
Charleston: that is a great Charleston! She has got really fast footwork here, and awesome energy! My only issue is that when she did the backflip over JT’s arm, and when she was jumping she was a little of balance. 9.
Argentine tango: Wow she is so sharp, and the frame looks amazing this time. Some of those lifts were very hard and they looked great. I do think she looked a little flat footed sometimes, but still killed it! 9.
Jive/foxtrot: I love the 4 of them together. Lots of good moves, and I didn’t think their dance was better than the other 2 couples, but it was a harder routine. I thought Ariana looked a little rushed, but I know that isn’t her fault. 9.
Salsa (redo): Sky, JT, and Alan the perfect trio! She looks way more relaxed, and definitely worked better run the frame. 10!
Freestyle: This was my favorite freestyle, because it was a unique take on the Christmas theme, had background dancers that had been eliminated before in the competition, and it has something Sky loves, surfing. It was perfect, great facial expressions, it was fast, and just great. 10!
Sky did awesome, she improved so much, great chemistry, she has the passion, and the heart. That is why she won. I also think Miles could have won, because he was very determined, and his footwork was awesome, but it the chemistry wasn’t as good as Sky and Jt. Makenzie was amazing, but it was unfair that she had ballroom training in the ALDC, and she was older. The choreography wasn’t the best for her, because it relied on her tricks, but she was sooo sharp and clean. Ariana had such fun dances, and great chemistry too, lots of personality, but she was sometimes rushed. Sky is my idol, and sorta celebrity crush, because I am a young girl skater a year older than her, and she inspires me with her attitude and bravery. Glad she won. Wow that is a long comment lol.
