Disney Monorail FULL Resort Ride - I Got a Surprise! Fun Facts, Valentine's Goodies & Exclusive Pins

- Join me as we ride the Walt Disney World Monorail and visit all of the Monorail Resorts - Disney's Polynesian Village, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. We see lots of new updates like construction on the new DVC Tower at the Polynesian that is being built and scheduled to open this year, NEW Valentine's Day merchandise, Basin White has reopened after a refurbishment, and enjoy a magical ride on Disney's Highway in the Sky! While exploring the different resorts, I share some fun facts, and we see lots of brand new, hot off the presses collections, including a brand new limited edition pin for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, brand new Sleeping Beauty 65th anniversary pins, and lots of brand new Valentine's Day 2024 goodies! Lots of really special gift ideas in this video too! I also get a HUGE really fun surprise on the Monorail, one of the coolest things to happen to me at Disney World ever!! Riding the Monorail is a fun activity where there are always new things to find, there are always new surprises and goodies to explore at the Monorail resorts, thanks for hanging out with me to find them!
One of the coolest Disney surprises ever happened this day! For someone like me who looooooves the Monorail, I’ll always treasure it! 💕 have any of y’all ever got to do something like that?

I am now going to mention another Vlogger 😂 Justin Scarred rode monorail in Las Vegas this month and sang “I got the whole monorail to myself!” - I feel We missed the opportunity to hear you sing it because you can sing- I remember!❤😊. We used to ask to ride up front when we were teenagers, we always got a kick out of it when they let us. So fun! 🚝
I remember when you lost your phone in the lake. You were with a whole bunch of friends. I remember that you didn’t seem disturbed by the event. Not saying that you weren’t disturbed that your phone was lost, I know I would be, but it didn’t damp in your spirits. On one of my Disney vacations, I broke my phone screen and I had to go to that big mall to the AT&T store to get it replaced immediately. I freaked out!!!! I also never got to eat at that luau dinner… I’m really bummed I missed that cause I heard it was a site to see. I’m glad you got to sit in the front of the Monorail and honk the horn and get the video. That’s kind of exciting! Also, when the DVC tower first opens, you will be able to do cash rooms easily enough to start with. It’s a quirk of DVC that until they sell enough rooms the DVC people can’t book them all.

I have been fortunate enough to ride in the front three times. In the 80’s with my dad and brother, and twice with my wife and our (now grown) kids in the 2000’s.
If I remember correctly, they (understandably) stopped allowing passengers in the front after the 2009 accident where a driver was unfortunately killed.
Yay Jackie monorail pilot! Now you can say "yes of course I know where the horn button is".

Jacki seriously thank you for these tours! I'm 51 years old, the only time I've ever been to Disney and Epcot was in 1989 with my parents when I was 17 😂. More than half the things you cover I've never even known existed, sadly I don't have kids, but I do have nieces and I want to take them so bad because they'll lose their freaking mind lol.

Sounding the monorail horn is a dream come true! Amazing that you had the chance to do it! Also, it is astonishing how fast a construction crew can finish a building. My husband is in construction and he says a LOT of the intense work happens before the building even goes vertical. I bet they'll be able to finish for 2024!
Resort hopping is the best, plus it's a great way to enjoy Disney without going to a park! Anytime I get a monorail by myself, I always have a mini party in my head Lol! especially going to Epcot. And Omg, you got to sit in the captains chair a beep the horn! that's pretty Epic Captain Jackie 🙌...also, you just had to show me new Pins! I need all of those new limited ones! I'll be seeing you real soon Disney with my wallet at the ready Lol!

I always enjoy your videos. If I lived near Disney, I would be there with you. I am 68 and still want to be there. My sister and I stayed at the Grand Floridian in May of 2018. Way way back when you could ride in the front; i was with friends and we actually seen a good part of illuminations from the front of the monorail. He slowed down as we entered the epcot area. I have a video somewhere. Something i will never forget.
May 2000 I was lucky enough to ride in the front cabin with the driver with my two boys ages 4 & 2. When I went back to Disney May 2003, it was no longer offered. That was truly a magic moment with that cast member as my boys were giant train fans at that age. Thank you cast members!
My very 1st Disney visit was July 12, 1979 (my 12th birthday) and I got to ride with the Monorail pilot! I was hooked from that day...🎉

My family and I rode in the front of the Monorail several times when I was a kid. It was a cool experience for sure. Monorail crawl is so fun to do if your not going to the parks but still want a "Disney" day.

When I was a kid, late 80's you could ask to ride in front, did it all the time! The best was riding up front to Epcot. Very cool you could just sit up there!!

I was there last week and made sure to ride the resorts monorail loop for the first time starting from EPCOT!!! I wanted to get out and explore the resorts but didnt have enough time because I had to make sure I got back to EPCOT for my call time to ride Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time!!! I loved both the Monorail ride and GOTG!!!!
Another top notch vlog the monorail has to be one of my favourite Disney World modes of transport.
I miss Disney even though it hasn't even been a full year since the last time we were there. I would love to be there for Valentine's Day one year. ♥

Love the monorail rides& hotel stops. Relaxing thing to do.
Two things:
1. I have walked past by Basin but never gone in but I didn’t realize you could make your own candle!!! That has been a little bucket list of mine so I may need to try it!

Yes I have actually gotten to sit in the front of the monorail before a long time ago when it went from Magic Kingdom to Epcot! Such a core memory for me now!

We were lucky enough one year to ride at the front of the monorail with the driver. We were going from Epcot to Magic Kingdom and were invited to ride up front. This was many years ago but a great memory for me, my husband our daughter and niece.
As soon as I saw the Robin Hood pin I had to buy it on shop Disney! In my top 3 films of all time. 🤘🤘

This might low key have just become one of our favorite Jackie videos! Having a car to yourself for two stops is already somewhat magical, but then to get to sit in the cockpit…do we call it a cockpit? Cabin? Engineer’s Compartment? Either way, pure Disney magic. 😍✨ Closest comparable experience for us was ringing the dinner bell at Hoop Dee Doo…but we all yearn to honk the horn on the monorail! Haha
Our family was chosen years ago to ride in the front of the monorail! It was so cool!! Then they gave both our kids monorail pilot licenses and took pix! Definitely pixie dusted and a good family memory! ❤ Glad you got to sit in the drivers seat and beep the horn, how fun!

I drove the monorail. I passed the test and then the supervisor told me to go and I went on a red. So that was that. Then I became a mouseketeer in a kid show. That was my favorite costume. I'm glad I did not pass lol! Such a funny story!
I was very lucky enough to have been around when they were still letting people ride in the front and my family and myself were able to do that. It was very magical as you might think it was but you got the next best thing and that's fabulous. You deserve special things like that.

In 2006 ( I was 6) my uncle came home from his deployment so we took a family trip to Disney (10 of us). We were invited to ride up front and then were given cards after. It was THE COOLEST experience. We felt so special getting to do that and it really was magical!
