Everything, as far as I know, is free, but you have to unlock them, so get to the grind
3:21 look at the detail of the reload. The shotgun shell shakes and jiggles around while it's re- chambered into the double barrel. Amazing attention to detail. Really awesome.

@@ryan7102 Same, I love the hot shot mode, but as always, I always have the most tags cause my team loves playing TDM in obj game modes. Same with the enemy team, I get killed and they run the opposite direction of my tag to go run and get kills. So stupid.

I love the fact that you try to use the stuff that most people avoid, I find myself doing the same. I've been loving the double barrel shotgun too.
They should definitely add some sort of new faction like the assassins to the game that actually focus on melee weapons and increased movement speed/ agility. Maybe that would be too broken but whatever, could make it a lot more fun for Melee focused players

idk if you would count grenades at melee, but the cleaners have a fire bomb they throw at there feet that one shots, it’s really fun
Seeing that Xdefiant is a game that includes a lot of elements from other Ubisoft games and that focuses more on fun.
The truth is that it wouldn't bother me if in future updates they included factions focused on melee attacks.
Can you imagine a faction that is based on the "assasins" of Assassins Creed? and that they're attacks are focused on melee damage?
With that we would have a happy TKO 🙂

i mean they own assassin so they would probably add it as a melee only class/team with hidden blade as a R3 melee and a sword from every assassins Frenchies as main weapon or a crossbow. and maybe if you manage to kill them from behind you get the eagle noises and an assassination killing 3d view like the game.

XDefiant is genuinely fun and a nice casual relief from COD. Obviously it’s not perfect but it satisfies me. I DO wish the weapon XP was a little faster tho. It’s faster to level up your rank than it is to level up a gun. I ran the M4 nonstop and reached rank 11 but only leveled the gun up to 4
I played last night and exactly my thoughts. I will switch between the two. IF i need a more relaxed gameplay i'll do xdefiant

You can also get boosters from having ubisoft connect and using those coins to get the hour weapon xp and BP tiers.

Hearing you say that it would be cool for them to add a sledge hammer, reminded me that they could always add more Ubisoft factions to the game in the future. Like a Rainbow Six faction
You can also get Dedsec by grinding too, you don’t have to pay. It’s a grind tho, roughly level 33ish

But after some games i realized sometimes i also kill them even 1v2, so it may be because different reasons like 2 people shooting on you or someone having an ability active. So i dont think its something wrong with the game.
It’s the head shot multiplier , it’s higher than cod in this game so whoever get a headshot basically wins

need to clarify: dedsec is not purchase only, you also can do a free (albiet long) xp challenge to unlock them. and you dont need the founders edition either. to buy em outright is just 1000 coins, so like... 5-10 bucks
only thing thats fully paid is cosmetics.
So far its fun, reminds me a bit of Blackops4, I dont feel like im sweating each match or having to use meta guns, just pure arcade fun. Feels good
It was fun for a little bit. maybe with time it will get better but for now, movement feels stiff, shooting varies from feeling like I have the bfg, to baby's first nerf gun. Primarily I think this is a function of how severe damage fall off is. With the m4a1, i've gotten as much as 10 hitmarkers on a target and they have 70 or 80 hp remaining at the end of the fight. The wild inconsistency and brutally slow xp make it more of a novelty than anything atm.
Quick tip, you melee faster with pistols.
Havent tested the damage for sure but i KNOW its quite a bit faster.
Melee is super clunky

i spent 3 hours playing this build last night...it was double xp and my double barrell is now lvl 27...there are like 3 attachments so it was fun but a waste of double xp weekend
It's Kinda like Super Smash Bros. In FPS but with Ubisoft FPS franchises. Hopefully they add the TC's Rainbow 6 Siege in the future updates or season.

I really liked the game also it has a good potential to be fun and alive for a good while, but definitely need melee weapons and sharp throwable otherwise i won’t be playing it as i don’t use guns so i won’t be using on this game either, btw i hope they bring melee to this game.
