  • What is Digital Marketing?
    Digital marketing, also called online marketing, is the promotion of brands to connect with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messages as a marketing channel.

    Marketing began several centuries ago with the barter system whereby various goods and services were exchanged for other goods and services.
    This concept of exchange is the foundation of sales and marketing and while the barter system is less common today the dawn of the internet in the nineteen nineties made this simple form of transaction even more convenient by offering a means for non-local individuals to match their needs with the offerings of others.
