  • Frank Deihl of Frank's Classic Cycle Works talks about why those classic british motorcycles "leak" and how to fix that issue (hint: they don't really leak; take them out for a spin regularly or drain the oil out for long-term storage.) The upgraded SRM sump plates have a drain plug that makes draining the oil easy and much less messy than the old sump plates. Easy to install and look great on the bike. I thought the drain plug should face the rear wheel instead of the front?

How do you remove the Sump Studs - the existing ones?

where are the numbers ? how much should there been the sump in a proper working system? this is amateur hour useless info. I will help you - people make sure to blow the particles out of the threads after you drain the sump or your fancy new plate will be destroyed immediately. Find out from mfg. how much oil should be in proper working sump because internet info is ignorant.
