feel free to correct me if i'm wrong sbout this, but there was no cash offered at ANY POINT at all during this week of shows correct? (I'm assuming that because I know it was at the time (and i am pretty sure still is to this very day, against the law for anyone under tjhe age of 18 to win ANY cash on a television game show in Australia.) (If the law has indeed been changed since this episode aired, feel free to let me know in a reply.)

oops, it looks as though cash WAS actually still offered, but how were the players able to actually accept it? (was any cash that players DID end up winning saved for their college educations?) I know that in many cases on American game shows, they have had weeks where they have had teens (or on a couple of shows even preteens playing.) BUT in those cases the rules were that the players who won $2500 or less would indeed receive it in cash, however, if the player's grand total was more than that amount, the ENTIRE amount would be put into a certificate of deposit which would mature when the player turned 18 years of age.) (Needless to say that is the reason I asked if any cash won was saved for the players' education.) Oops again, I honestly did NOT realize this was a tournament for college students.) LOL.
