- Thanks again MVST for providing the case for review. It’s incredibly nice and I’m just as happy with this case as I am with the other MVST cases I travel with.

Hmmm the wheel replacement is a good idea. I wonder if other luggage are like this
I thought so too! I haven’t found any other luggage like that yet. I’m sure somewhere there is other luggage with quickly replaceable wheels though.
A. How is it holding up long term? B.Why did you go with the silver vs a colorful one? Does it hide scratches better? I cant decide between this and the black! Thank you!
Holding up very well. Nothing has broken or become unusable on this case.
And good question about the color. I chose it for one, because I love the look of raw aluminum. And two, you are going to get dents and scratched on aluminum cases, there’s just no getting around that. So on the colored version it would show up that damage more and instead of looking well traveled like old aluminum luggage I feel like it would just look trashed and messed up. In my opinion
Can you buy extra wheels when you buy the suitcase so you already have something on hand in case one of the wheels break?
Also, do the Trek suitcases nest such that you can put/store the carry on inside the medium, and the medium inside the large?
Yes, you can. Just add the extra wheels to your cart along with the suitcase.
And I just tested if they could nest. With the carry-on and the medium, and no those cannot nest. So I kinda doubt the medium could nest in the large. That is a brilliant idea though.
@@SignedSojourner can you share a link to the extra wheels? I’m looking at buying and can’t find the replacement wheels on the website. Wondering if they quit selling them.
shrsl.com/4dmo1. Absolutely, here you are. They are kinda hidden of mvst’s website for some reason.
Have you taken medium bag on a flight as as carry on?
Nope, the medium size it too large to be a carry on unfortunately.
Are these also available in a physical store aside from online?
Good question. I don’t believe so no. I think they are online only.
Can you use this medium size bag as a carry on?
No, only the Carry-On size. Medium size is going to need to be checked in.
how do you set the combination on the lock ?
There is a little slider inside the suitcase on the back of the locks. You just need to enter your current combo, then slide that slider over, set your new combo, then release the slider and your new combination is set.
How does this stack up to the luggex it looks identical just cheaper any thoughts?
I honestly have never heard of Luggex before. So I don’t have enough information to form an opinion. However I did search it and Luggex looks to only be an aluminum frame with the shell being mostly polycarbonate. Maybe you found a full aluminum one but I couldn’t find one in my search. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
How does the Trek series compare to the Space series?
I actually have a video review of the space series as well. But in summary, the trek is more rugged looking and it feels like it could take more of a beating. Where as the space is very very pretty and sophisticated looking. The only main differences is the interior layout is a bit different. The trek has two individual locks where the space has one. And the big one for me is, the trek has replaceable wheels and the space does not. Overall, I prefer the Trek.
@@SignedSojourner HELPFUL. I was so torn between the two but now I think Trek is better for me.
How much does it weigh, empty?
10.7 LBS for the medium size
Can it be used as a carry on
Yep! No problem at all. They make three different sizes. The one in this video is the carry-on size.
can you take this with you as carry on?
Absolutely! It’s perfect for carry-on luggage.
Sooo what's the weight on that 😅
10.7 LBS
Don't do it! I bought 2, both became defective with 1 use in light rain. All my friend's luggage didn't have this issue. Thing is, wheel is designed poorly and wobbles. Debris easily gets trapped inside constnatly. Customer support told me to wash my wheels frequently LOL. Terrible people and shady company. Was offered no service and no solution.
Why ones buy an aluminum luggage if ones aren't a gazillionair? I'm a millionaire and I don't see the point.
Personally I just don't like how fabric or polycarbonate luggage ages. When fabric starts fraying and polycarbonate cracks it just looks bad in my opinion. Plus, getting away from zippers on luggage is great from a safety standpoint. With that said though, everyone has their own preference on what products they want to buy and what worth their hard earned money. It's nice that there are so many options out there as far as luggage goes.
the handle isn't full wide, big L
Would you like to sell this !?
I mean, I don’t sell them personally. However, I know a place where you could get one. mvstselect.com/signedsojourner
Rimowa should sue
The wheels are trash. Never again
What happened? I’m sorry to hear you had that experience.
Decent info, appreciate that. But yikes. Drop the performative ASMR-i-ness of it all and just talk lol
