Until recently seeing the videos of young adult men showing reverence to our flag, I didn’t realize how hard my patriotic heart has been beaten down. My husband is a veteran. He joined the military when we graduated high school in 2001. Seeing the second guy being treated that way by the President of the country that man sacrificed so much for rips my heart apart.

All biden has been is a distraction from all of trump's failures and a source of many distractions from our struggling economy with trans activists' ridiculous antic support on things like entry to bathrooms of the opposite sex, changing rooms and imposing ideals on children, support for Netanyahu, and racial topics allowed in college curriculums like white privilege and segregation, and it's working. Everyone believes that those are our biggest problems, not our struggling economy at the heart of it all.
Like Bernie said, "It's not Bernie, it's us!" We need to remember what he stood for and what he called out, we need to be a unit to make this country work not just for the wealthy 1% but for all of us. The working class matters too, we don't deserve to suffer poverty and disease just because we don't come from wealthy families and can't afford a better education or better healthcare. This reminds me of my beloved President Rodrigo Duterte, visiting injured soldiers after the marawi war. Miss so much, the toungue slashing yet most empathetic president in my lifetime.
The other thing of note is how President Trump interacted with him. He was very personal and respectful, not treating it like a photo-op. Truly a man of the people that actually cares about the people he serves!
He was absolutely incredible to us. He was respectful, kind, funny and genuinely concerned for our family..
When trump told his followers to fight like hell at the state house because he lost the re-election he promised them he would be there with them. When the attack happened he stayed at home in his giant dinning room eating breakfast watching it on TV. Then he claimed he did not tell anyone to fight like hell at the state house, it was "fake news". The whole thing was a ploy though, to mock Bernie's loss and play the unfavored politician to trick the people who haven't really been paying attention.
No one can accept what he has done during his last presidential run, like how he claimed COVID and climate change is a hoax, how he pushed his wall over everything else, how he talks in circles never making sense when asked questions like "how is your wall going to make a difference?", how he shook hands with Kim Jong Un after Kim tortured an American college student and sent him back to America dying just to make his family watch him die immediately after his return just to make an example with him of what he can do and trump said Kim is "good people", and how he shut down 2.7 million jobs during his presidency.
All biden has been is a distraction from all of trump's failures and a source of many distractions from our struggling economy with trans activists' ridiculous antic support on things like entry to bathrooms of the opposite sex, changing rooms and imposing ideals on children, support for Netanyahu, and racial topics allowed in college curriculums like white privilege and segregation, and it's working. Everyone believes that those are our biggest problems, not our struggling economy at the heart of it all.
Like Bernie said, "It's not Bernie, it's us!" We need to remember what he stood for and what he called out, we need to be a unit to make this country work not just for the wealthy 1% but for all of us. The working class matters too, we don't deserve to suffer poverty and disease just because we don't come from wealthy families and can't afford a better education or better healthcare. And we don't deserve to be at each other's throats at the whims of the media for the benefit of political favoritism! The wealthy don't pay their taxes, they make billions and refuse to pay their workers livable wages even though they can afford it, we are the wealthiest country in the world yet the working class can't afford the cost of living in this wealthy country. Bernie didn't just offer magical solutions, he instead offered ideas to make changes and explained in detail how those ideas would work.
