Really enjoy listening to the prep work and how it played out. Inspiration aplenty! Looking forward to the next one, and good luck on your surgery, brother 🤘😎🤞
I knew Sammy would deal with the situation without involving my buddies and endangering their futures. They fought and clawed and scratched for a chance at better lives and would have blown it all up to help me avenge a mentor. My duty as a friend was to protect them from that. My duty as a kid from the neighborhood is to fuck up the next moonshae a-hole i encounter. Lol
Plus it would have turned into another session. 😆
Joe, you need to fix the Terrasque. You have damage as 1-12 which results in -11. Needs to be 1d12.
That was just to scare them and not make them scroll up to see the monster I was testing lol
Cool video. I never would have considered doing a prequel 1on1 before hearing this. My question is what do you do if a character gets killed by an unlucky roll a few sessions in? 2e is pretty lethal right? You gonna do another prequel 1 on 1 every time a character dies or just tell ‘em to make up a backstory?
I’m just doing one or two basic encounters per one on one session. Just to get them used to rolling. Easy encounters. I don’t want to kill them off this early. I’ll wait til their fully invested in their pc’s, when it hurts more. Lol!
Really enjoy the gaming philosophy and recap videos. My heart lives in this era of D&D.
Thank you Chris! Glad you’re enjoying it!
