Car life/van life is definitely not easy in small towns. The cops are definitely watching everything and everyone.

I had been suicidal multiple times with two young sons. If I had the courage to become a nomad back then we would all have been better off!! I'm so glad you hung in there!! Living in your car/road life is very therapeutic. I'm so glad I found your channel and I am glad you are doing what's best for you and your lovely baby!! 🥰🥰🥰

I moved in my van full time on May 3! I had been following vanlife for over 5 yrs but couldn't do it because I was caretaker for my mom. She passed away in March 😭. Not exactly how I wanted my journey to start, but I'm here! I love being by myself, but it's a different kind of loneliness knowing my mother is physically not here! That's the hardest part for me.
I’m really sorry to hear about your mom. I truly believe that when people leave this Earth, we still have pieces of them and they stay with us. That feeling used to scare me but now it brings me comfort as I’ve lost people I love… how is vanlife going so far? Is it better or worse than you expected?
@@FreeSpiritMom I'm enjoying it. I'm pretty much city dwelling because of my job, but it's going really great. I found a couple safe spots to sleep. The only down side right now is I don't have a big enough power system to run the stand up ac unit that I have. Once I get that I'll be just fine. It's HOT in Florida 😂😂😂!

This is soooo heartbreaking! Firstly, I want to say you're so strong! Thank you for taking care of yourself and your daughter even when you were battling depression. You're super intelligent. They're are so many jobs out here and you would qualify for snap and your baby could go in day care during the day. Please stay strong, get yourself out of this situation. You can do it and you deserve it!

Please keep God first. He loves you. He sees what you and your daughter are going through. Life can becso hard sometimes, and it can get overwhelming . Just keep your eyes on Jesus. No matter what happens. He will provide and protect. He's got you❤
You can go to truck stops. LOVES and Pilots are great. Most of them have designated spaces for cars to park.
Try 24 hour stores and service stations. If you ask management, the majority of the time they will allow it. Just be careful of the neighborhood.

Theres so many momma's that wouldn't be able to do this with a child. You make it look easy! I'm a single mother and I know it's hard as ever, and I can't imagine doing it while living in a car!! Keep yourself going, don't give up it will be worth it one day !

People find peace and resilience in different places and if this is where you need to be to get your mind, heart and spirit right, then you just keep on doing what makes you and your child happy. I think about leaving my apartment and my job to do van life every day, but I’m just too scared to do it. You are strong and you have a beautiful spirit and I wish you all the luck and success on your journey.
That is true! I even had to learn that myself. All our journeys are different. Whenever you do get the plunge to do it, do it because I feel it’s going to be regulated sooner rather than later. I’m pretty much taking advantage and enjoying before all of that lol. Thank you for your kindness 💚
Holy cow, you really wouldn't be able to tell that anyone lives in there! Especially there being the two of you! I started out in a Kia Optima and being that everything went in the trunk, other than a blanket that folded, I could drive coworkers home and they had no clue! Great little setup, and glad the police aren't messing with you too much. Georgia sounds brutal in the summer, I know how bad it was in Nashville!
I know the depression part well, which was actually a trigger that shown me that I need to change just about everything in my life. I also spent a few years single and it really paid off.
I respect the fact that you can objectively look at your financial situations and goals, and do what you need to do for you and your baby (who is very cute!) I know a lot of people have so much fear, but it's clear that you've looked at what you both really need (food, shelter, water) and you know how to afford and maintain that. It's a rare skill to have these days, it seems, but imagine how much farther you'll get when your hard work pays off!

I just moved into my car and i love it I’ve never felt so at peace I was working 7 days a week to pay for my house as a single person. I had no life and could still barely pay the bills. Now I live life how I want I finally feel like I’m out of the rat race!!! So happy for u and ur baby you both seem so happy and healthy. I ended up moving to Illinois for healthcare and other resources. It was a good decision.I love Georgia but I had to better my circumstances. Safe travels. 🙂🙂❤❤

I don’t mind apartment living if we’re doing like a month-to-month while traveling but I desperately don’t want another 12 month lease for an apartment 😩 I have a few LLCs lol but FSM isn’t one at the moment. I am definitely moving in that direction. I follow Ellietalksmoney on IG and OMG, she drops GEMS! She has a mommy millionaire class that I just signed up for! It’s 3 days, 4 hours each day of information 😳🤗 I’m so excited and I’m definitely going to share what I learn. Yes, we should link up! I met another car dweller yesterday and the vibes was amazing! I have never lived in my car but I’m doing car camping and I love it for so many reasons. The only suggestion I would say is too try to explore as much as you can especially since you taking your home with you. Thank you for being honest and transparent. I agree, focus on you and your wants and the people and things that are focused on you. You're worthy, loved and significant. Learning how to say no, etc. Experienced depression too so I understand. I ended up starting over and still in it. I decided to move to California and left the old life behind including family, friendships, all material things except for 2 suitcases on me. The peace is so much worth it. You're gonna be okay and work out. God bless you. 💙💜
Thank you. I wish that I would have recorded my declutter process so I could have posted it to motivate other people. Leaving things behind really is so refreshing and beneficial. Depression can definitely creep back on you. It’s so many factors that can play into it as well. If it wasn’t for my daughter, I don’t think that I would have gotten through it so easily. How are you liking California?
@@FreeSpiritMom For sure, getting rid of things gives mental space and clarity. Continue in your word and when God starts revealing your identity to you, everything changes and makes sense. It's a process. California is a different vibe. The warm weather helps alot. My favorite part. Though I do get homesick. Food here isn't as great as the east coast but the move was what I needed. I'm still laying low and doing the inner work. Do you have a general idea where you want to move yet?

On cheap rv living they say that you find coolness at high elevations, I lay on a hot water bottle with cold water in it to keep a bit cooler, then I can wash up a bit with the warmed up water.

Yessss 🙌🏾 this lady a few days ago literally said “if you’re not married, don’t get married wait til you’re older. Live your life” she didn’t know me from a can of paint! I truly believe God wants me to focus on my relationship with my daughter and evolve. I also want to foster in about 10 years. I have to stay focused so my dreams can become a reality!
