That caught me by surprise because 1 or 2 seconds before he said that I was thinking "man, that looks like it's glitched or something" and then Ren made the chunk error comment.
I love that Smallish got Iskall's approval by making a pun on his name almost immediately. I also adore that all of the hermits that have been asked to participate in the house either had a really good time, or a really bad time trying to pick out their blocks, but they all LOVED participating in building the monstros-I mean house.

Idea. Tear this down once it’s “done” and build your house/base with only these blocks. This is how to prove that iskall is the best builder on the server!

No don’t tear it down count up all the blocks used fill a bunch of chests with the full set of them invite everybody back and have them build a little town around the monstrosity using exactly the same blocks but individually
Yeah, tear it down and he can use up to 32 blocks of his own choice in addition to make it work!
As this was taking shape it kinda felt to me like a much more chaotic version of the challenge house that Xisuma started the Empires crossover with. (He went around and asked each person to select the one block that was most iconic of their empire and to gift him 32 of that block. Then he gave himself 5 minutes to make something with what he had been given and what he could craft from what he had been given. He cleaned it up a bit afterwards so he could use it as his base, but the challenge was to see what he could do on a tight deadline.)
(EDIT: Correction: It was Cubfan, not Xisuma.)
If he burns all the diorite, it's going to be a minuscule base.

I love the concept that Hermitcraft doesn't have to be perfection and great builds. Minecraft is about having fun and Iskall"s "build" is a great reminder of that. It is a sandbox game after all.

im hoping one of the new guys makes some new friends for sure. they have their friends on the server but it would be awesome to see new friendships flourish - and iskall and joel seem like an awesome duo
@@dania4407 I'm pretty happy with the cherry mountain crew. The new guys have some of their friends with them, but also people they haven't worked with before, so it's a good way to start integrating into the hermits. Mind I also thought for AGES Skizz was already a hermit for some reason

I find it so interesting that swedes recognize the d sound at the beginning of the English j sound. That's absolutely the beginning sound for the j sound but I've never acknowledged it

/ʒ/ is the "s" sound as in vision

Also: 8 hermits currently building their bases that are connected to cherry hill, with at least 3 of them building pathways into it.
Tbh, if planned, giga bases ARE possible. If in s8 boatem had more time their base wouldve been awesome
