@Frazer Phipps-Clark I remember I had trouble shooting and dodging at the same time without falling off the edge. 😀 and the monster would constantly hit me or get me off course by slamming its buttocks into the ground every few seconds. I have never dared replaying that part. same with the 3 centaurs in greece . sooooo hard.
@@mialene9240 Hard puzzles are ok, but I have no tolerance for IMO badly designed ones. That puzzle was just the last nail to the coffin of many terribly designed puzzles: One tiny fuck up and you have to do shit ton of climbing again and again and again. I don't have more time to go more in-depth what I mean, sorry.
@@nicholashartmann4525 it's just a bunch of climbing is my point and you have to do it again if you miss a jump because the camera angles and controls suck in this game. You have to be precise. I respect myself and my time for not putting myself through that kind of bullshit.
Just shoot the final boss(Natla) till she stops flying and then continue shooting her till she rages up and comes close. hold the mouse right button (aiming her) and run close to her, once she is front of you - ( press W + SHIFT) + left button - shoot(once the two circles meet each other and turn red in slow motion) AND SHOOT HER BACKK continuously till she dies. ITS EASY. YOU CAN DO IT !!
I've just completed the game and I've followed some of your videos when I got stuck and couldn't find the solution. Straight to the point gameplay you nail every jump and it was great to watch 👍 This is one solid game one great remake for the time

Você tem que irritar o monstro (basta atirar nele). Quando ele estiver irritado, vai ouvir um som e uns círculos amarelados vão aparecer na cabeça dele. Ele também vai mostrar que está claramente irritado. Aí você espera. Quando o jogo entrar em slow motion, mexe pra um dos lados e aperta o botão de agachar/rolar. Depois disso, vai aparecer um círculo cinza na cabeça dele. Espera o círculo ficar vermelho, depois atira. Quanto ao slow motion, recomendo começar a mexer pra um dos lados ANTES do slow mo começar. É menos uma coisa pra se preocupar durante o especial
I can’t get past the stupid centaurs so how can I even contemplate this thing. I’ve tried every piece of advice and nothing works against the centaurs. The adrenaline dodge has to be the most ill conceived & badly executed move in any game. It just won't work on my PS2. After 12 years & 1,000’s of tries I should’ve achieved at least one dodge, if only by accident. I killed the T Rex by standing Lara on a rock to the left of one of the sets of spikes. The T Rex couldn’t reach her & I shot continuously for 12 minutes solid until the kill sequence came on. The designers responsible for including this level of difficulty (unless it’s a glitch on my copy) needed to learn what makes a game fun. Pure, unadulterated aggravation, that almost causes one to have a seizure, is not fun. The rotten centaurs don’t even lose life when you shoot them continuously whilst avoiding causing them to rage. It’s as if the designers anticipated & negated every possible trick the player might dream up to save an otherwise lost game. They even took out the original level skip. Soul Reaver was great but Crystal Dynamics ruined Tomb Raider. Core Designs produced some dodgy games, such as TR Chronicles but they were still reasonably enjoyable & their unpublished version of Anniversary looked miles better. It’s a pity Eidos took Tomb Raider away from them. As far as I’m concerned Crystal Dynamics turned the game into a complete waste of the purchase price.
Not Gonna lie- Yes T-Rex was a pain in my ass but Centaurs was pretty easy- See don't get offended Uhm All you need to do is just Learn a single Adrenaline Dodge and Done :D When that Centaur isn't doing anything Grapple its Shield and Pull it So that it falls down now all you have to do is it Stand near that shield and Continuously Shoot them and then when they are going to Throw that Green rays on you and Turn you into a stone just stop shooting Hold the Shield and that would reflect the rays back to them and Make them stone and then keep killing them You can do this :))

Once the centaurs started chucking bombs around I ran Lara round in circles so they would hit each other with them. Once one of their life bars had gone almost to nothing I ran Lara to the edge of the water to give them less scope to run around her. Then I shot one until it raged. It was my last attempt at an adrenaline dodge. If it hadn’t worked I vowed to never pick the game up again. Miraculously, this one & only time it worked & I hooked it’s shield from it. I used the shield every time I got them into a rage & because it’s life bar was almost out, it died immediately. To my amazement the other one died without even trying. I’ve no idea why, unless it was a glitch. I still haven’t finished the game because I’ve got tired of it for the time being. It’s a shame they’ve made some of these bosses & some of the other parts of the game so tedious because it would be been more fun if it’d been less of a chore. The fact that the game can’t be saved anywhere is another downer. One person said to me that it’s the challenge that makes it fun. Not for me. The fact I’ve done something once means I shouldn’t have to do it again. If he wants a challenged then it’s simple, don’t save it at any point during a level, he has that choice but people who don’t want to do it over & over again ad nauseam should have the choice to save anywhere. @@Cremeyuki Thanks. I completely agree. I have not yet tried any of the games that came after the Tomb Raider Trilogy. I haven't finished any of those 3 yet either because I get so exasperated. I got stuck on Anniversary again. In February I put it to one side but can't remember why now as I tend to confuse the trilogy games together in my head. I seem to vaguelly remember some rotating knives that I pushed a crate through for protection. Later on another I think there was another set of knives that were so inescapable, that may be when I gave up. Good luck with the big boss you mention. 👍
it took me like 3 hours, multiple hand cramps and all my nerves to kill the abomination. this guy right here: hmm. 1 minute. unbelievable.

Because it's designed in a very restrictive way. Even if you shoot billion bullets, the boss will maintain max hp. It's sad.

The blood on Lara gloves should have been shown.
If you play the level with the Camouflage outfit by collecting the relic in Temple of Khamoon, the blood can be shown in the cutscene

Thank you for the walkthrough. This game killed my patience in the sanctuary so I just watched how it ends.
The sanctuary's puzzles are easier than its previous chapters (temple and Obelisk of Khamoon) imo.

You can avoid the centaur's turning you to stone simply by pressing the duck button , I hope this helps :)
