I'm extremely happy I got him on the paid gacha so I'll try to give him more use, plus that costume looks nice.
About the gimmicks, Amakusa and Gilles will give each Jeanne some card resistance. After getting rid of them, the resistance will disappear.

The dude can break through space and time, the Monte Cristo Mythology is a poisonous flame, inmune to any kind of poison or mental interference, and using its Real Name can make the enemies turn against each other, its a power equal to those of the Age of Gods, and can even burn souls.
He's fast enough to appear as a "time stop", and can revive other people with an added buff to them.
So yeah, the Count is pretty broken lorewise.

Well if we're going by your logic, then Jalter is carried by Merlin due to how frail she is and Merlin patches up her every weaknesses. Let the Count have his moment to shine.
jalter is much more team reliant than dantes due to her frailty, dantes has self sufficient kit and it helps that he got sq recently and with advent of skadi he's a fucking monster right now, and aoe noble phantasm is much more valuable even in challenge quests that has multiple enemies than a single target noble phantasm, the break bars also restrict the bursting potential of jalter so that doesnt help either thats why her ranking in tier list is being lowered, and most of time this game is all about grinding so id rather have a strong aoe avenger so i can breeze through the farming xd

Break bars may restrict to an extent, but let's not deny who's the more suited one for boss killing. Even without Merlin support, she still hits hard that it's scary (with Nightingale support). Besides, both need the extra support to sustain themselves. Not "He has the skills to sustain himself even though it won't save him from an NP". Bringing tier lists? Well here's the stats list: "Highest atk stat in the game (Jalter)" vs "4th highest atk in the game (Dantes)". Keep it real without the obvious lowballing, people. And have a nice day.

I have neglected this guy for far too long. Since the Summer event has begun, he hasn't left my team and I don't think he will ever again, unless I need a specific team comp. He is so fun to watch and actually more reliable in gameplay than I first thought (and that's without Skadi or any Quick supports)
I wish I could get him to NP2 tho, just to show him my appreciation after all this time. Dantes is great.

So glad I decided to yolo roll him. He always had cool animations and decent skills, but now he looks even better!
Now they just need to give Dantes a buff to golden rule to add an evade or an invil for a turn and we'd be seeing a lot more Edmond solos in the future.
i would say changing golden rule to a diferent skill that gives both NP gain and evade is good enough. and maybe giving wisdom of crisis hability to curse, so it combos with his NP that after interlude has a unique debuff that doubles the damage from curses the enemy receives
Maybe they could give it a buff were it lets him curse enemies when he attacks them like that thing Berserker Jalter can do with burns.

on NA, after halloween im going to start saving for him (because i also want to give a shot at getting cleo) although im going to use the total 64 quartz you can get in babilon i the first banner because i want quetzalcoatl (or lucoa 2 as i like to call her) too, but all login and event quartz as well as tickets obtained trough events from november till january are going for his summon. i just love dantes style and i was SO happy when i saw that animation rework, because i wasnt expecting, as he already had good animations, and now its even better. i dont care if jalter is a superior avenger, i just want dantes for how awesome dantes is to me, as well as his story, and i would gladly lv him up to 90 and even throw one or 2 grails into him

you don't actually need to worry about charging NP when you have ~75% charge on an avenger, since their passives include charging more NP when getting hit
