Hi, thx for this! Do you know how to turn off the touches light? Also, is it possible to make the lcd screen more bright?

How do you connect the strap?
I never put mine on and I sold the one I had so I can't look at it to see. Here is a pdf for the instructions. Page 2 shows "17. Lanyard hole." Assuming that's it. Hope this helps.

How far does the night vision go?
I couldn't give you an exact distance. The zoom is almost too intense on this. But obviously the farther away the item is, the less clear the pictures is. If something is within 50' or so, it's not far enough away really, still sort of blurry. There is a focus wheel on the bottom. Then again, I'm not someone that uses things like this a lot so I don't have any other references to go by. Here is a link to the instructions if you want to check them out.
