- Dr. Lane G. Tipton describes the important distinction between redemption accomplished and redemption applied. By understanding Christ's once for all accomplishment of redemption in his person and work, Christians may come to a deep and more Biblical understanding of how that redemption comes to believers in Christ.

He didn't mention the importance of ascension really in this video, but I would argue that it is an important part of both ordo and historia salutis.
Explain
He did at 5:36 but went over it quickly.

Boom!!
By His Blood we are reconciled to our Heavenly Father.
Messiah was Justified and Sanctified in His Resurrection- the Son of Yahuah in His Power- He becomes Life-Giving Spirit- He conveys His Righteousness to us...
Righteousness, Holiness, Redemption is what Messiah becomes in His Resurrection, and conveys this to us, in our union with Messiah Yahusha.
You have a transcript of this?
Do I need permission to subtiltle this in to spanish?
Redemption accomplished, his ownership of us with his blood. However redemption applied is atonement which is by Christ's judgement, as his resurrection allows him to atone for sins. Redemption and remission are separated by death and resurrection, he was delivered for our offences and raised for our justification. God justifies for faith in Christ, and Christ justifies by our works.
We have works as a fruit of living faith in Christ, but works never justify us before Christ in any sense.
@@PaDutchRunner our good works justify our faith. The just shall live by faith. All that is not of faith is sin.
My friend you may believe you were saved at baptism, or that Romans 5 is salvation, but it is only baptism.
Redemption and remission of sins are in a covenant, we may assume redemption but it has not happened yet, though atonement is reconciliation into the church at baptism by forgiveness of past sins, but they aren't actually forgiven until after sanctification justified by Christ at final judgement.
Since making comment I have made a Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity' to expose false teaching, please check them out.
@@PaDutchRunner Sorry to inform you but good works are required. True believers have been PROMISED atonement in the new covenant, Jesus has regained access for everyone at the Cross, but only those sanctified shall receive the free gift of past sins forgiven.
No one can pay for our sins but those who deserve grace can be forgiven.
I have made a Ytube video series called 'Myths in so-called Christianity' since my initial comment, 30 videos of false teaching in Christianity.
@@simonskinner1450 Sanctification is not optional and is NECESSARILY the result of true faith, but the works have no saving efficacy in themselves - that’s reserved for the blood of Christ!
@@PaDutchRunner "no saving efficacy" true, but the grace of Jesus is deserved by faith without sin, as all that is not of faith is sin.
It is folly to believe atonement happened at the Cross, whereas the Cross brought the new covenant and access to eternal life lost by Adam, and those that are adopted into the covenant will have their past sins forgiven as a free gift if they remain in Christ.
the death blow to satan are you jokeing
In the life of the Christian - absolutely!
@@PaDutchRunner So! you are telling me, you have satan under your feet think about this, he is under your feet means he has not gotten a death blow if he is wiggling under your feet. Also, why are you still deceived by him? you say the life of Christians, meaning satan can not influence Christians? Why do so many Christians live a life Just like the unsaved? Abortions, pedophile sexual perverts on and on . Son! satan rules the church system of today.
