I've bought tickets to every Flower game here in Ottawa... not to watch my Sens... but to watch him play. My eyes never leave him the entire time... and he is even great to watch during the downtime and commercial breaks. The man is always moving. Greatest player in the history of hockey in my opinion... not just because of his skill.. but because of his heart and pure love of the game. Yup... pretty sure I have a man crush on the dude LOL.
That’s awesome man , love it! And I’m with you, he is for sure one of the best personalities and people ever to play the game and of course is a hall of fame player to go along with it!

As an Avs fan, I haven't liked any team he's been on, but I fucking love the Fleury. His personality and antics both on and off the ice are amazing, and he's a great guy.
My stance on the NHL now is very simple;
My favorite team is wherever Flower is.

I’m a long time hockey fan who grew up in Montreal. I have lived in Las Vegas for the last 18 years and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to watch Fleury play for the Knights. He was so loved here and his trade to Chicago made a huge part of the fan base very upset. Unfortunately, once it was clear that players really wanted to come here, our GM just added piece after piece no matter the cost on the team harmony. Marc-Andre was the soul of this team. His loss has soured so many fans. He made it clear that he wanted to finish his career here and even live here permanently. Why would you trade him? So sad.
They definitely backstabbed him and might have some bad hockey karma for a little while after all these moves. Love flower tho !
I'll follow Fleury to what ever team he is on!

Love the Flower. He is a professional and the ultimate teammate. Never heard him talk down about anybody, especially when he could have. Just a class act. And then so funny. There are not too many Dudes like him. Then his loyalty to Pittsburgh. Plus he is so freaking athletic, quick, etc. But I did get nervous any time he tried to puck handle. When he would pat the goalpost after a shot I would just laugh.

I got into watching ice hockey this year. And he instantly became my favorite!
I still find it criminal that the Pens chose to protect Murray in the Expansion Draft over Flower. Fleury had a few down years with the team the previous few years, but Fleury is gonna be one of the greats when his career is all over and DESERVES a HoF spot.
That decision definitely did not age well. At the time I think most felt it was the right choice but it didn’t quite pay off for the pens. Wish flower could have played his whole career in Pittsburgh
And I hate the fact that some forget if it wasn't for Fleury after Murray got hurt there would be no 2017 cup

Murray wasn’t that good tbh. The team in front of him was a powerhouse and built for the playoffs. Flower should have been kept by the pens, think money was the deciding factor
It was the right choice. Looking at it now, people will say it wasn’t. Murray was in net for the last two cups. He was younger. He was cheaper. We had salary cap issues, so you 100% take the cheaper option. Really there was no “right” answer for the Pens at that time.

Im a wild fan, my first and only jersey ive bought so far is a fleury jersey that i bought the night of the trade. Fleury is amazing. Hoping he stays in minnie rather than going home at least for another year.

I’m fairly new to ice hockey (as in, I’ve been watching live games for 1 or 2 months) but Flower immediately became my favourite and really drew me in.
Whilst I don’t particularly like the Blackhawks, I’ve become a major Pens fan and have started following the Wild as well lol.
He’s just such a pure and funny soul, a real international treasure, I’m hoping to catch one of his games in person before he retires! (I’m from Europe, so that’s more of a bucket list thing, lol)

As a Josh Bailey fan with fleury a Pen and Bailey being the Pen killer I still love fleury. Also funny that him and Hughes were talking mid play.
I love Fleury (I’m a Habs fan.) I love all the hilarious stuff he does. Also, my first ever NHL game happened to be on December 9th, 2021 the Habs vs the Hawks. (The game Fleury got his 500th win). I just bought the closest game to my dad’s 50th birthday (I’m 25). So I had no clue it was gonna be his 500th win prior to the crowd chanting “Fleury!” And I hope Fleury continues his Stellar attitude and play!

In my opinion the best goalie alltime. Just look at his numbers. Playing 13 years for a team that lets face it was never a shut down defensive team yet still has great numbers. Carried an expansion team to the finals in year 1! Amazing. He could compete on any team for goalie 1. Ever. By the way have you ever seen a goalie make so many fantastic saves? Ok Maybe Hasek but i still say the Flower is more athletic. On top of all that never heard a bad word said. No one dislikes the guy and all his teamates love him. For me. In an alltime draft he’d be the first goalie off the board.
Definitely one of the greats, I’d still prob have a couple ahead of him but if he keeps this up for another year or two I could see him being in that GOAT conversation

I’m a huge fan of him I love him and I got to meet him and I would love to meet him again someday and he was the best dad to his family and kids and he is such a good idle to look up to and I would like to shoot against him and skate with him on the ice and I would like to be on the ice with him for a game on the wild home ice someday it’s my dream to play hockey with him

Even though he robbed my favorite player in Lidstrom to secure the Cup win for the pens, I still learned to love him. He's a great role model for hockey players.

As a pens fan it hurts me to this very day that we let flower go. I understand why. Murray was young and flower was aging and we needed to move on. I just hope that somehow they sign him to a 1 year deal after he’s done with Minnesota and he can maybe get our goaltending back in order. Cause Jesus Christ Jarry sucks

I like him as a person but I've seen him choke more important games than any other goalie in hockey.
I've disliked MA Fleury ever since his Junior days where he choked in the WJC. I wish i could get beyond it, but i never have been able to. He gave the puck away and lost the game for Canada. His time in Pittsburgh I always felt he was overrated despite his success
