Crewe (/kruː/) is a railway town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. The civil parish of Crewe had a population of 55,318 in the 2021 census.[3] The larger Crewe built-up area, which also covers parts of the adjacent civil parishes of Willaston, Shavington cum Gresty and Wistaston, had a total population of 76,437 in 2021.[1]
Crewe is perhaps best known as a large railway junction and home to Crewe Works; for many years, it was a major railway engineering facility for manufacturing and overhauling locomotives, but now much reduced in size. From 1946 until 2002, it was also the home of Rolls-Royce motor car production. The Pyms Lane factory on the west of the town now exclusively produces Bentley motor cars. Crewe is 158 miles (254 km) northwest of London, 28 miles (45 km) south of Manchester city centre, and 31 miles (50 km) southeast of Liverpool city centre.#travelvlog #travel #film #Cheshire #crewe
To get a better picture of a place, town or city it might be an idea to show that place at night time too, especially late at night. Thanks.
Wow it's so busy haha 😂
Crewe is the center of the Victorians, queens park and meny historical time periods
To be fair, a lot of town centres have suffered shop closures. 10 Years ago it was a thriving town centre. Now it's a ghost town. Too many empty shops. Who knows how the regeneration of crewe will go. And also, because hs2 is cancelled, the government have given crewe council money for improving the area

changed so much i'm finding it hard to get my bearings
I challenge you to find a Town with all the shops enjoying full time trading. It is pointless people criticising Crewe if they are not prepared to support it.
Crewe unfortunately has followed everywhere else and suffered with the modern trend of not helping local businesses.
The time to alter things was when it was busy instead of sitting on their backsides buying off the web.
Cheshire East have not helped in any way.
'The Wall' in West Street was knocked down to build more houses and a friend once asked the person who designed Dunwoody Way where he lived and the answer was Sheffield!
Thanks for the comments
Badly researched, you missed the refurbished The Lychem Theatre and LY2 Square at the rear of the Market Hall. But you missed totally why Crewe is where it is, the railway station and the whole of Nantwich Road. You also missed the Heritage Centre, and why no commentary? Very slanted view of the town, which is no different to any other town centres blame online shopping.
Even the title is negative, yes the town has real problems but I’ve seen worse.
Used to call at a buisness in Crewe, was such a toilet I was always tempted to call in at Crewe Hall on the way out for a shower.
Yes, the clock tower and bus station and surrounding shops have all been demolished for a new cinema, village and multistory car park. Should energise the town centre
The good thing is NANTWICH is close !!
It was humming in the '70's and then the trains left...shithole now.
Very poor reporting by staying in Crewe town centre instead of the Town of Crewe
Garry sorry to disappoint, we will always try better next time
