- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new thrift store try on haul! I found so many gems at the thrift store I had to share them with you!! Not only clothes, but artwork to do the ghost paintings, I found furniture!! yes outdoor furniture woop! and of course clothes and shoes and purses and oh my oh my the labels. what! I'm not a labels girl but it is always awesome to find something at the thrift store that is 'worth' $300 and is selling for $6!! woop and woop!! Always a thrill. Crosstitching...I learned in 8th grade, right before Christmas break, my math teacher brought this out..a simple Christmas scene ...absolutely absolutely changed my life!! I will always always treasure it, love doing it ❤️

Saddle strap pants! I distinctly remember having a pair in third grade which had a skirt attached. They were my favorite. And yes, they were vintage JC Penney.

I was a teenager when "stirrup" pants were popular. I had some in every color. I loved how they stayed on your boots.

Seems like you just got a big boost in your dopamine level!! Shopping, when you find things you really like, and they FIT, especially after feeling like nothing will ever fit again, can really raise your mood! It was well worth every dollar you spent, to get you back to being excited about your clothes choices, and feeling good in them.
Oh wow those jeans 👖 fit amazing! I've been trying to find jeans that fit that good forever. They're always too loose in the waist but just right in the hips. I'm heading to the thrift store!!! Thank you so much.

I’m always blown away by the size of Kim’s thrift stores & great variety she has available. I thought I hated thrifting…but I’m realizing it’s got to be at least partly bc my selection is so crappy. If I had some of the stuff she shows…even stuff she passes by…I think it could be fun to peruse every once in awhile.

I loved, loved, loved this video. I was terrified we weren't going to see the haul from the other day. I loved everything you chose, but my favorites were the Lily Pulitzer jeans and LP dress. I love the ghost painting idea, I've been watching your videos about it, and I can't wait to go to the thrift store. Don't regret the wooden scissor caddy, I have it and they aren't that great. I also have those little bird sewing scissors and they are everything! I've had mine for 36 years and they are still the sharpest best scissors I own. Mine were from a high end knife shop my sister worked at and they were $20 back then. I see them all over now for way cheaper, so hopefully yours are the same quality. I love thrifting with you and I love all your finds!

BTW - I got an idea when I watched the video you did while you were actually shopping for some of the items you showed today. I had never heard of "ghost painting" before and I immediately thought of one of my favorite paintings that I own - it's fall already (my FAV season!) and shows a walking path beside a lake with lots of trees that are changing color and beautiful colors of leaves blanketing the ground.
So .... since I love the painting and don't want to make any permanent changes to it ....
I took a picture of it and had it printed on an 10x12 canvas! Canvas Discount just so happens to be having a sale so it was only $15.20 (with free shipping since I had some other pictures enlarged & printed for Christmas presents)! It will be shipped out this Friday and I just can't wait to get started!!! I'm certainly not a painter but I think it's going to be a lot of fun!
