  • Hi. This a review video on stihl vs Husqvarna combi fuel cans. The two of them are very good cans in my opinion but after using them quite extensively for the past few years i have come to the conclusion that the Husqvarna combi fuel can is better in the video i explain why. Good vid. I didn't even realize there was such a thing as a combi kit like this. Less to lug around while felling. Appreciate you discussing the pros and cons.

The old husk arena cans ,I used to have to fix the O rings all the time ,good can ,just frustrating.

The reason why the oil filler spout doesn't fit in the holder is because the holder is meant for the auto shut off fuel filler spout, which used to be straight and not curved.

Hi Per-Åke Sållstrøm. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that I'm using the oil one as the fuel one. I will look into getting the correct one. Cheers Calvin

@@CalvinThomas05 Does the nozzle straighten up? Where it bends might be a ball swivel joint, Also mine, the end that went to the can fitted into the bottom of the holder.
Might be worth taking the can with you to the shop when buying it.

On the Husqvarna one the the auto shut off filler spouts get stuck open a lot resulting in spillage when you aren't expecting it, never had that on the Stihl one. I don't take the spouts off either so never gave a thought to where they fix when not on the can. I leave them on all the time but I don't have cause to swap from spout to lid and back repeatedly.

On the side, there should be small creasegun/suringe. Not the fast-fill nozzle.

Hi Seamus. Thanks for the comments. Yes funny enough my Husqvarna can doesn't shut off properly now but I still like it more than the Stihl because of the tool storage. I use the two brands side by side anyway. Cheers Calvin

*I used this on my 2006 Troy Bilt Pony (MTD) tractor **Bestfor.Garden** also recommend it was an easy swap. It's very light aluminum and seems sturdy enough so far; I assume you really only need to replace the idle pulleys once so if these wear out anytime while I have the mower I'll update the reivew.*

They are great petrol nozzles. Can't get them here US, something about safety, they seem work better than the crap they call safety nozzles, they spill everywhere, complete garbage. Ohy Stihil or Husqvara.

These cans are illegal in the U.S unfortunately only available via online orders husqvarna much better value but stihl can is more rigid and feels more heavy duty husqvarna spouts are a good deal smoother to use and the two oil spouts are very useful as stihl do not offer one that can be used in winter easily yet

Hi chichi. Thanks for the comments, I don't understand why they are illegal in the usa strange laws compared to our's lol. I think these cans are safe. All the best calvin
