02:51 Statuary. Better than a garden gnome.
So cool you were able to get across. Dams are wild eh? I remember seeing the Mactaquac Dam in New Brunswick. During spring they open up the gates on that sucker and the water shoots like a rocket. So cool. Great adventuring gents.
Amazing amount of engineering involved for the 30's Very cool to see up close :)
Very Well Done 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Just super cool footage Mason! I really enjoyed it...Thanks for all of the great videos!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
The KLR looks really stable.
That was enjoyable , another little tour to do in our north country . I heard of Abitibi canyon dam but wasn't aware that you can continue north to Otter Rapids . Thank you
That 360 camera looks like a nice bit of kit. And the views from that road, my goodness.
Melon with the bug was funny, not for him I’m sure. 360 is looking good. Nice ride👍
Worst feeling having a bug crawling in your ear
Ha, awful feeling Steve :) Cheers!
wish we had crossed when we were there, it truly is a sight to see
Yeah, it's really something else in person. :)
Another beautiful tour of Canada. This is a great distraction as I site here with 20 degrees and windy snow blows by the window. Summer is coming.......
Thanks for watching! We are waiting for spring here too :) Cheers!
That ride across the damn was so cool! Thanks so much for sharing this Mason! Watching your content Sunday mornings make me twitchy to get the bike out. Especially when my klr is snowed in.
Same here! The editing sure helps pass the time ;) lol. Cheers!
Very cool Mason 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Ian :) Great ride!
Nothing beats a fly in the ear! I'm starting to get addicted to Canada, absolutely stunning.
No, brutal! Cheers Bryan :)
That was awesome!! Been praying for you all up there with the latest events going on in town hope your family are good and the boys as well. Stay safe and look forward to the next one.
Cheers Chris :) Thank you. we are all doing well here :)
Awesome views great job on the new vids
Glad you like them! Cheers Mike :)
Awesome spot, now I'm leaning towards accomplishing this later this year. Anxious to see the end of the road!
Another cool spot for sure ;)
I've ridden off of my Gaia map a few times and had to resort to the Garmin or LocusPro. Good to have a backup, and a spare air filter LOL!
Yes, it works well when we have the ride section downloaded, lol. oh well. always something ;) at least there are lots of other options so we aren't ever stuck. Cheers!
Are you using 2 mics or 1. Nice to hear your buddy's talking to you.
Cool video and thanks it's a lot of work editing and all is appreciated. From snowed in .in upstate New York
Thanks for watching! Cheers Bruce :)
Cool. Been there many times by snowmobile and even further to Moosenee but never on the bike. Yet. Wonder if you when after you crossed the dam you made it to New Post Falls not too much further. Looking forward to the next part.
Looks like a great area on the sleds! We missed the falls but pushed on to the next dam further north.
Thanks for sharing Mason ! Anybody who’s had a bug in their ear can certainly appreciate the need for a quick stop. Haha. How’s that go ?? Laughing with you; not at ya. ;) Great stuff guys. 👍🏽
Haha, exactly!! Cheers Coach.
Wow....I am so behind watching your channel! Loved the views!!! Does it really matter if a 360 camera is perfectly vertical...? haha!
Not at all!! Haha. Cheers Ron. Too funny
Thanks for sharing your Adventure Mason. I also have a KLR650 a 2009 model modded similar to yours. I have loved every one of the 20,000 miles I have put on it here in the North Georgia mountains in the states. But I wonder if you were to get another bike what would it be?
Cheers Steve. That's such a great question and one I often think about. I can honestly say that right now I don't know. Lot's of great options now but picking one is really tough. Super happy with the KLR and the way it works for me so I have time to think ;)
Great ride again fellas.
Why are the black flies so prevalent way up North? I see that in Northern Alaska videos as well.
Thanks Pinkie! I think it has a lot to do with the terrain and wet areas for them to breed up there. They can be bad here too but usually well over by August.
@@masonsadv Thanks Mason. I’ve always wondered about those pesky flies.
Hello, Mason. Loving the videos of you and your buddies on your adventures. I recently purchased a secondhand CRF 250l and I was delighted to see that the motorcycle has no problems hanging with the KLR or Tiger on the road and the trails. Not to take away from your channel but, did your buddy modify his suspension at all, or is it stock?
Thanks for doing what you do! 🤙😎
Hey Frederick, Thanks! Melons bike is stock with the exception of a power commander. It works well for him because he doesn't weigh much at all. Even still the 250 is stretched out on the highway but hasn't let him down yet. :)
Yeah I’m a lightweight so the suspension holds up fine, the average male adult weighs more than me 😂
Does the KLR burn oil?
Mine will use a bit now with the 14 tooth front sprocket on a long highway day. nothing critical but I do keep an eye on it on long runs.
What's the story with Millers?
It's a big construction company here but just funny how no mater how remote you get you can almost count on seeing a Miller truck. lol. Cheers :)
2:51 Bear or cutout?
cutout... this time ;)
@@masonsadv I had to look at it a couple times…. Lol
We were shopping around for different seats for the KLR? Do u have stock seat or something different?
mine is stock but Old Mason has tried a couple different seats and keeps coming back to the stock.
Mason are you still running the smaller front sprocket?
yes I am. It works well for me ;)
