I make GIANT PANTS from a linen tablecloth found at a local thrift store. They are based on the remnants of a pair of pants found at Hedeby (Haithabu).

I cannot say which I love more, these pants or your naming conventions for these pattern pieces 💛💛
I was already giggling, and then the crab hands sent me. 🤣 You look amazing!
These are so fun, I love how they turned out!
What beautiful and voluminous trousers! I can't get over your crab dance, I just KNOW I'd do something similar in your shoes! 🤣
The pants look great! Glad to see you back on CZcams!
These look so cool, especially with the floral crop top!!!
I'm so excited to find another sewist on youtube to follow!
Love pants like this! I've been living in a modern equivalent, aka: Basically the same pattern, but replace the pleats & bands at the waist & ankles with elastic.
Those are wonderful. So loose and flowy. What can I say, butt trapezoid made me giggle every time you said it. I don't know why.
It kind of made me giggle, too. I think it's just objectively funny!
I will be referencing this video when I eventually get over my fear of trousers and try to make some! Also the phrase "butt trapezoid" is delightful XD
Honestly this was one of the easier projects I've made recently. I don't think you have anything to fear!
Lovely to see your projects again. Love the pants. Can’t wait to hear your doctoral app videos!
Lovely to see you here, and with such a fun project!
Also, lovely to see two of my favorite YT follows interacting this way.
These look amazing :) Fantastic colour and thank You for the step-by-step explanation of the making process :)
I just discovered your very first video and glad to see that you were still at it as recently as 11 months ago. Look forward to watching all your videos and I hope you keep it up!
I love these so much! Gorgeous, and a great explanation of the process, despite the difficulties of butt gusset intricacies I feel like I understood everything :) I might even make some of those for myself :)) thank you!
Excellent tutorial! Im sewing impaired, but I think I got it! Thank you! They look great on you!
oh how great! thank you for sharing!
wow the geometry going into your awesome comfy pants is impressive!
This is why I like early period costuming! It's shapes!
I bought some material last year to make some of these so this video will be helpful once I get my sewing machine fixed.
Welcome back. The pants look so comfy, I love the color and the different ways you styled them.
These are amazing!
they do look mighty comfy :) tried to find your other channel, but it seems i am not smart enough :(
Should be linked in a card. I'll also post a link in the description
@@TheSingerSews thank you !! got it now :)
Wow! I’m glad you’re back! These pants are lovely. Your stitches and pleats look neatly done.
