I dont know why i still thinking about overmethylation problem ... This drug have a lot of fluor and methyl groups. Increase methylation, because they are toxins. You cant use folinic acid, because IT turn on sert gene.its opposite to ssri . High folste and niacin remove methyl groups and make chromatin more free to transcryption. We have a lot natural ihdac.a lot of people have the same reaction form ashwaganda( ashwaganda cause Cooper overload what's the natural for overmethylation )and SAMe ( the opposite is s adenozylohomocysteine -strong demethylation suplement). I can be in wrong.epignetics changes from SSRI arę reversible.

After finding out about PSSD about a year and a half ago, I realized I have been suffering from PSSD for over 27 years and it is sheer hell. Knowing that there is no treatment for it leaves me feeling like what was brought up in this interview: What is the point? I have no motivation and no more energy/desire to appear "normal" to anyone anymore. I just want my life to end.

Going on seven for me. I ran from the Rothschildes Big Pharma nightmare after being put on high doses of opiates, Adderall, Cymbalta, benzos, and more when my doctor left, and I was being scrutinized and treated like a drug addict. I have been in bed ever since. I did get an initial benefit from Cymbalta that promptly left when it became generic. Adderall also went from being a help to a nightmare at that time. Now, I have no life.

Another great interview, thank you Josef and Sean. Sean did a really good job of articulating himself and on behalf of us sufferers. I relate to everything said as I'm in the same boat but to emphasize on the change in personality type, there's no impulsiveness to want to go out, there's no satisfaction or feeling of benefit in being in the company of others, regardless of whether they're friends or family. There's simply a barrier, it's like you're in your own bubble and being encased means you can't truly interact with the outside world. This stuff is so hard to explain. It's like trying to explain death, you're never around to experience it and relay your experiences to others until it happens to you. Majority of people will never live to experience what it's like to physiologically live without emotions and numb genitals. Many people will nod their heads as if they understand, but you can't truly empathize unless you experience it, which is a big issue for us. To say to someone you FEEL like a 90 year old with an oxygen mask, but LOOK like a mid 20's healthy adult is just baffling, but it's the truth.

Thank you so much Sean and Dr. Witt Doerring for speaking about the potential horrific outcome of taking an antidepressant.
Sean, unfortunately I can relate to 100% to your words.
Originally I took Zoloft for PMDS for 3 months, then I only had a mild form of PSSD.
Unfortunately I was devasted enough by this loss and my family and doctors put me under pressure to take more medications. After weeks of discussions I took Bupropion, which is supposed to be "perfectly safe" for pssd. How wrong! It made my state immensely worse! Now I have severe emotional blunting (can't even feel a thing for my family or cry) and severe sexual numbness.
All I live for is being myself again in the future! I wish nothing more than finding a cure.
I hope your video brings us one stepp closer to this goal.

    @heinz-georgschneider3567 Před 11 měsíci +12

Antidepressants (SSRI/SSNRI) working mechanism is that beginning with one single dose the ZNS is flooded with serotonine , due to the blocking of the reuptake. They effect the 5HT receptors and the brain reacts against the higher serotonine levels with a downregulation of the different 5HT receptors what leads to the typical withdrawals or side effects, when taking or reducing the drug.
    1. 5HT2A : Anxiety, insomnia, overstimulation, emotional numbness also due to downregulation of dopamine levels, when serotonine levels are too high
    2. 5HT1A: Effects on autonomic functions such as heartbeat, breathing , body temperature, sweating, vegetative nervous system
    3. 5HT3: Vomitting, gut disorders, change of bowl movements
    4. 5HT2C: Sexual dysfuntions, PSSD, loss of appetite, loss of body feeling
Furthermore we have 14 different serotonine receptors in the body, which regulate different systems or body functions together with other transmitters and hormones in the body, which are affected through changes of serotonine levels in the ZNS...

I’ve been suffering with PSSD for a decade. It has been essentially ruined my romantic life permanently as far as I can tell because I can’t seem to find a fix for PSSD. Shortly after I found I’d been chemically castrated by these SSRIs/SNRIs I found a BBS out of the UK with hundreds of others who had lost sexual function.
If you want to know how the “genital numbness” feels it feels like at its worst like it’s not your penis you’re touching. The severity comes and goes. Stimulants can effect the level of “numbness” sometimes, but a full “useable” erection is impossible with PSSD. Surprisingly orgasm returned to some extent after many years but without erection.
Also, as your guest says, the ability to enjoy oneself while taking these drugs is massively reduced. I don’t recommend drinking as a pastime but these drugs will take you to a place where you can be say drunk but emotionless. I believe alcohol tends to exaggerate emotions. This stuff Sri will do EXSCTLY the opposite when combined with alcohol and OTHER recreational drugs.
Be warned this all can happen to anyone. Avoid these drugs at any cost.

Tragically I was given nortriptyline for trigeminal neuralgia type 2. I finally wavered and took one, made me feel strange, never took it again. Don't know if I ever truly returned to baseline. This was a long time ago.
I think basically what happened is you sustained damage (or more accurately a "decoherence" was induced) between your physical body and your astral body. Or you have distortion of what eg the Golden Dawn called the "aetheric double" (aetheric body). In my case I was already crumbling and there are too many confounders, but what I can say is that I only feel emotions in dreams. In the waking world it's all fairly blurred, blunted. Mind you I can detect macrostates and emotions by indirect means, but they are sort of invisible. Muted as you said, though not entirely. So you have to ask yourself, if dreams are generated by the brain, how is it that in that state stimuli run through the same machineyr would suddenly be experienced differently, only to disappear instantly on waking? My conclusion for several reasons is that the the body and mind together form the psychophysical proxy for your core awareness, your "I". With them out of the way things start working normally. Sexually things function fine, though I lack pronounced attraction. Always kind of did, hard to describe. Then again I was basically isolated and tortured for a prolonged period, where the maim and drain medical industrial complex tried to take their cut too. The pain was years in and unbearable, but I am ashamed I took even one of those pills. And I think that's the key, shame and consent.
Try moving your mind's body and feeling the "you behind you", reach inside your body with your mind's hands. Once you can do this you'll probably begin to realize that your aetheric body is not coherent with your physical body, it won't be overlayed properly and will probably be off to the side or otherwise distorted. Move it and forcibly merge it with your physical body, put them in the same place. You may not like it, but that's the most reasonable explanation and solution. The mechanistic, materialistic models just aren't adequate to describe the persistence and depth of the effect. Maybe they dose it with metals or something, I don't know. Either way it seems like energetic damage, energy isn't distriobuted properly nor flowing through your body, and hence your experience of it is diminished. You're also absolutely right, if you switch off somehting in your body something in the mind switches off as well. Interestingly the description of the skin being like rubber is relateable, I had that a few times.

I don’t find joy in much… it’s crazy. Not to this extent… but it’s definitely a thing with me. I knew it’s from the drugs all along. But even ecstasy and coke do nothing for me. Heroin even doesn’t hit like it used to. But alot of heroin isn’t even heroin anymore. It’s mostly fentanyl which isn’t as euphoric as heroin.

This sounds just like neuropathy. I can't feel much anymore in my hands and feet, plus my whole body feels 1/3 Less and I can do minor surgery on myself now. I have the emotional blunting too but I am not disturbed by it. I had always been overly emotional and this numbness is a relief for me. Finally, I am under control. Sure I'm kind of a female Spock, but it sure beats having all those crazy emotions that I used to experience. I know that "not existing" feeling and that is a problem. I still take wellbutrin and Effexor because I can't get off of either without relapsing into depression or having panic attacks come back. I wish I had stayed on Benzos sometimes. They worked well, but I'm low income and medicade won't cover Valium or Ativan anymore. I cant afford to see the private docs who only take cash and will prescribe what works (instead of Effexor or SSRIs.) .

Hi everyone, first, I wanna thank everybody who is responsible for keeping this learning space available for all of us.
I am social worker who has been working in mental health for the last few years.
It is incredibly disheartening to hear about the damage that service providers and clinicians have caused to so many consumers around the world.
One thing that I have noticed about a few of the consumers who disclosed their experiences with BIND or other protracted withdrawal conditions is that they talk about their experience of distress, but none of them seem to display their distress in their affect (none seem to cry, or display anger, or much emotion regarding what they are saying).
Is this what you mean about feeling blunted? Sorry for the question in case it may seem irrelevant. I just genuinely want to understand when you say " I can't feel anything".
I once had a client who was 16 and had been on antidepressants and who was highly suicidal. And I remember clearly her saying that she did not feel anything and that she just did not care about anything. I remember being intrigued about the fact that she never cried or seemed distressed in session. And I honestly believe that may be the reason why her parents thought that she simply wanted attention and did not believe that she was really suicidal.
Thus I genuinely would like to know whether people experience this numbness ever cry or show anger in their affect.
Thank you so much for this space

Hi! That’s actually me in the video. I just wanted to visit the comment section here to see if anyone had questions. So when your patient explained that she can’t feel anything, she is referring to emotional blunting. That’s a common side effect of antidepressants, but it’s NOT common to see it persist after getting off them, because then it could indicate PSSD. But anyway, It feels as if you are no longer a person. You are living but you arent. For example, it’s like watching a TV on mute, it makes it boring right? We can’t cry because it’s literally impossible to feel anything, including sadness, happiness, empathy, etc… This is why your patient felt that way because antidepressants can and will do that to people.

To anyone reading this. I think it is a blood flow issue (autoimmune issue affecting vessels). I have had some success with cialis (it helped break the cemented brain feeling a little bit). Extended fasting has also helped. My pssd was from ritalin. I think we all have "low grade" serotonin syndrome.

    • @TheDavveponken
      @TheDavveponken Před 4 měsíci +1

@@zvvv8792 Interesting question. I don't know anything about abilify other than what I just read on wiki saying it is a form of antipsychotic which share many of the side effects found in ritalin or stimulants, drugs that affect dopamin receptors negatively - directly down-regulating them as is the case with antipsychotics? While stimulants overwhelm the receptors enough for them to down-regulate themselves in the end (i.e. too much dopamine, or serotonine syndrome) they therefore end up having the same effect in the end if you are unlucky - too little dopamine and a damaged nervous system.
I absolutely think cialis may help you as it seems the active substance in ability (as with seemingly most Psych drugs) is a vasoconstrictor (meaning they negatively affect blood flow control). Google "is abilify a vasoconstrictor" and the first result, a study from 2013, seems to suggest this relation to aripiprazole (the active substance in abilify): the study is titled Worsened hypertension control induced by aripirazole.
So anything you can do to increase blood flow should be beneficial (as it is in general really). You can probably safely rake cialis daily or semi-daily at 5 or 10mg (but start with 5) or maybe even viagra, which is virtually the same thing but stronger but then with a greater risk of side effects. Be careful or refrain from taking either if you have heart problems (or have tinnitus, or before working out). Fasting may be helpful as well as it is good for cardiovascular health. Doing cardio of course. Taking vitamin k2 combined with vitamin d is great as well. Vitamin E is good too (take separately). And magnesium, zink and vitamin C vombined is great for your nervous system (don't combine with vitamin d though). You can also supplement with bcaa (a combination of vitamins and l-citrulline), just be careful combining this with cialis or viagra as it amplifies the effects greatly. And sleep, duh :)
      Best of luck.
Ps. How long have you been off?

Don't take cialis or viagra if you have heart problems. Take cialis 5 or 10mg every other day. Avoid working out rhe same day. Google abilify and vasoconstriction for more information in a studie from 2013.
Take breaks every now and tgen from cialis for your brain to adjust to go off it.

Could the emotional blunting be due the fact that there are sexual dysfunction and issues down there so your mind is not able to ENJOY things anymore since you have this HUGE problem? At least it's what happens to me.. at least what I think.. I'm constantly "feeling" my genital numbness that it feels like I don't have a penis anymore. It's constant into my head so I cannot enjoy anything anymore. My biggest thing in life was to find a GF and have a family so without this possibility at the moment nothing matters anymore. I'm 35 year old now so around me everybody is getting married and having kids and it's terrible to see. I come home every night and I feel lonely cause I don't have anyone on my side but also nobody to talk with. PSSD makes me super shy and timid and I was very OUTGOING before this happened. I don't enjoy things anymore I can barely laugh.
I'm really really really SORRY Sean! I feel you with every ounces of my heart! Many things that you say are exactly how I feel it... FUCK!

No, I can't feel drugs and alchol anymore.
Med induced emotional numbness is NOT psycological.

I got cured by right side low frequency TMS, The feeling people describe as emotional numbing is the core symptom of depression, so if you cure your depression you cure your PSSD. Don’t stop until you feel well

[This guy has LEDs up in his room. If you deal with anxiety or visual sensitivity or even nothing at all- the LEDs are constantly flashing. Unless you get the non flash LEDs then you are being strobed at a very high rate with the light. Regular lights (like the original style Christmas lights) are not constantly flashing. ]

@@sc.1282[ Its a general note for people dealing with the sensitivity of withdrawing from these type of meds. People who just leave these things up while dealing with light sensitivity should consider what they are strobing themselves with. This is probably more for benzo but it was on my mind generally.]

Unfortunately for this guy sexual recovery is not likely. On the reddit forum there are, as far as I’ve seen, zero cases for healing in regards to genital numbness
