Why Moscow is so cold? Reality of Russian winter

Yes, it is cold in Moscow during winter. Moscow is actually among the coldest European cities by some ratings. Russian winter lasts here for 6 months. The first snowfalls usually in November and completely melts in April. During this period you hardly see any sun. But fresh snow is definitely there in most cases. -30C during winter is not a surprise in Moscow, but it never lasts more than a few days.

Good content! Few notes- spikes (studs) are not mandatory, only "winter type". It's not "central heating" but "district heating", thought in Russian it's called "centralnoe"

A thing thats very important in Winter imo are good gloves, because you can feel warm everywhere else, but your hands still freeze, its a shitty feeling
