Delta Air Lines Flight 1234 PDX-SEA. November, 2016. Aircraft: Boeing 737-800. Took off on Runway 10L at Portland International Airport ~ 1pm PST. Landed on Runway 16R at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ~ 1:30pm PST. Flight Duration ~ 0 hr 30 min. Seat 24A.
I've done this route countless times, but it's always been on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air before they were bought by Alaska Airlines.
The Alaska Airlines on the Parallel Runway while landing that was going to take off might of been the flight I was on in August as well because I did see a Delta 737 Land opposite to Us.
Where was that flight going?
Did you hold the camera the whole time or did you have a device that held it?
Great video thank you!
A perfect 30 minutes in the air.
bro the plane travel faster to sweattle than me driving from hillsboro to portland airport 💀💀
Nice!!
Nice Video.....I used to live in Portland for years..... seemed strange that this flight went East down the Columbia then turned around and went NW toward Seattle....
William Kinyon i have luved in Seattle my whole life.
all about wind direction. takeoff into the wind, in this case an easternly at PDX and a southernly into SEA.
William Kinyon I live in Portland my whole life
I gotta go to pdx to Seattle then to Honolulu then to Malikia on a airplane that fits my whole family 9 hours of sitting on planes
Must’ve needed the plane in Seattle. You’d never typically go that distance on a 737, more like an erj or q400.
Alexander Smith yah i have only flown on a 737 to KSEA from PDX once i usually fly on a embraer.
I don't know--737's are used on this routing more often than you might think, according to FlightRadar. Planes from the south frequently pass over my Ballard house when landing from the north. This one turned southward earlier.
@@brookdale2740 This is correct. AS and DL use different aircraft on this route depending on load factors. Before pandemic I think AS was running 16 flights a day between PDX and SEA.
I plan to do this soon, I live in PDX but I’ve driven i5 close to 1,000 times.... plus i cant fly planes for medical reasons so its all i have left to be in the air, despite it being fucking stupid to outside eyes, im really excited. Mariners series staying at the silver cloud. Thats my next vacation... i ALSO HATE DRIVING IN SEATTLE
I liv in Portland
Me too
@@PNWElevatorAviation cool I love it here
Levon Young Same!! We're you born here? Cause I was
@@PNWElevatorAviation Born, raised and always lived in Gresham until a few years ago. Now I'm in Troutdale.
Same here. I live 10 minutes south of Portland.
Great video!!! Awesome views of Seattle starting at 34:44
Thanks!!! I was fortunate to sit on that side of the plane to capture the view.
35:14 you can see century link feild where the Sea hawks play
Sea-Tac southbound approach is one of the best in the country, depending on which side you are on
Beats the hell out of I-5.
That's true!
yea but I think I rather take the train lol
Truth!
Train's slower & then you'll have to stop for every 10 Minutes it's annoying. Driving, less stops. Flying takes longer too
It takes 4 1/2 hours on I-5 and takes 46 mins on a plane. So yea it does
That wing is leaking fluid all over
It’s called condensation
Who else watching in Washington or Portland in 2019 #seattle
Caleb T.V I am for sure. I live in Portland. The flights to Seattle & Portland are too useless & too short tho cause it's only Three Hours of Driving
I am
I’m here in 2020
I am, but I ride Amtrak. I just happened to see this as I came here from watching a train video.
Typical Pacific Northwest dreary/overcast weather, devoid of sunshine!
But even on a cloudy day, the soutbound approach to Seattle is great.
Yep. Always dreary.
Love the weather there. Coming from Arizona, I need all of the overcast weather I can get!

Delta has no union.
I live here in Portland and Driving from Portland to Seattle is ONLY 3 Hours. It's bot even that far. Flights from/to Seattle/Portland are useless & a waste of Money. Again, It's only 3 Hours but 15 Minutes Early. As long it's a layover or a Transfer. I'm sorry if I talked a little too pushy but it's true. Unless you’re flying to Seattle from Portland for a Transfer & Seattle to Portland to go home after a long ass hauling flight
