Shifter bushings fix for Harley Davidson

After 45K miles in my Ultra Limited the gear shifter was very noisy. By replacing the bushings the noise was no more. You can spend $80 on a Jim’s speciality tool or you can do it with a home made tool, the end result is the same.

It's nice and all that you replaced the shift lever with new bushings, But then didn't upgrade the shift rod with the crap stock ball joints that wear out and pop off and leave ya stranded!. Ya need to replace those with Heim joints!.

Had to go to another video for better information and every other video says use blue lock tight.
