  • So today I installed the dash after having a repair carried out .
I think in future I think if the bike is being left for long periods of time and not being used I will disconnect the battery to give this capicator a longer life span.

Good job,, I’ll be changing the bigger capacitor as well, electrolytic caps usually don’t last much past the decade or two mark.

Oh don't say that only had the one changed , I had to get a professional in a guy who's repaired tablets etc .
It's done for now so relieved, I still wonder if someone has fitted an alternative dash

I’m fairly sure mine had a manufacturing date sticker on the outside case somewhere (2007),, i’ll possibly be doing the job tomorrow so I’ll confirm then..

I also have 2002 Caponort, but I have a problem, I want help from you, when the motorcycle warms up, it stops when you release the gas on the road, what could be the problem?

Sounds like it's running lean I had a similar issue , I would suggest with engine running lift tank and spray brake cleaner over intake flanges and all those rubber hoses and listen to the engine for an increase of engine speed mine was a vacuum pipe sucking in air .
Also Carry out a visual inspection of all the hoses look for cracks etc good luck

Thank you, but I don’t quite understand where to remove it. Can you make a video and show me?

Hi you would best remove the tank but keep it all connected so the bike can still run .
Fire the bike up and spray wd40,brake cleaner or something like that over all the possible places your bike is sucking so throttle bodies, intake flanges and all those little pipes on the left side below air box .
It's normally them that have cracked over time .
Your listing for a change in engine note higher revs or even a stall .

There is no problem, I tried it, there was no increase in the revolution in any way, but I suspected the coil, there are four roles where the battery is, it made oxide to the initial role, I changed it, I couldn’t find the same, it heats up in the role I’m wearing.

@@Muratytrs have you got tune ECU sounds like it could be the idle valve in the air box ,you should hear it when you turn the ignition on , clean it sometimes it gets oiled up but you can adjust it with tune ECU which is free to download and use .
